International Mother Language Day.
Our ancestors came here from all over the globe and didn't have to "press one". If you want to live here, learn the language.

National Sticky Bun Day.
If it's ooey, gooey, sticky, and you need a shower after eating it, you know it was worth every bit.

Card Reading Day.
If the inside of a card for a man were to read "mvpo[ laf0op la[0ewr ''e0-e", would we notice? On the other hand, a woman would never forgive or forget.

National Biscuits and Gravy Day.
Love on a plate.

Birthdays:
Jennifer Love Hewitt, 38
Frasier Crane, 62
C-3PO, 71
Mary Beth Lacey, 71

If it weren't for the gutter, my mind would be homeless.

I don't mind pressing "1" for English. But I would really like to have someone on the other end speak English after I press "1".

I haven't tried this, but a friend told me that if you press "2" for whatever, then you get a bilingual (or multilingual) speaking person who usually speaks very good English.

LOL Cindy. Yeah I love folks who speak midamerican/ west coast not heavily accented "american english". Sad we haven't actually adopted an official language for scnool and commerce.

Except, maybe, in the Southwest, where Spanish was spoke for 200 years prior to the introduction of English.

Prior to Spanish were Native American languages, if we really want to revert.

There's not much reversion in the Southwest. Spanish has been spoken continuously in the region since the 1500s.
