anyone tried the other new cool way flavors - birthday cake? cookie dough? I haven't seen them in stores yet, but apparently they are out there.

I don't understand the halo top thing, at least the halo top I've seen here. Chapman's frozen yogurt has comparable calories. Also Chapmans Dutch chocolate froyo is super chocatey haha

My thoughts exactly. Those low calorie "ice creams" are very close to half their price quadruple their size offerings from Breyers or Chapmans. I especially love Chapmans cookies and cream and capuccino.
    100cal for 125ml / 70g.

The caramel pecan is surprisingly good too if you're willing to go to 110. Honestly they're all good. I need some sort of sweet in my house and these are my go to staple.

hmm i may try those. but i can't necessarily be trusted with a tub that big :P

the dark chocolate and chocolate bar looks pretty good for 90 cals.

I found a box of SimplyProtein Bars at Costco. (~150 calories with ~15 g of protein, depending on flavour). They also have a good selection of SimplyProtein bars and chips at Bulk Barn. (They are expensive there, but I bought one of each to try different flavours before I order them from the website.)

Well.ca is a good place to buy these I have found. A case of 12 is $28.

Go ahead, I dare you. You really can't do that much damage. The Dutch chocolate is 90 calories per half cup, at 2 L, that means the whole tub is only 1440 calories. Even if you had a real bad day and had a quarter of the tub, that's only 360 calories man.

the chocolate is decent yes. the pb is a bit high (some are up to 150). which, ok is less than my B&J favorite which is like 350-370/half a cup? :o

but it's a good reminder that frozen yogurt has good stats and to double check that section of the store.

Good good ice cream is an amazing treat, this is just how I get through the day haha

If you really wanted to deprive yourself, the big 4 L tubs of the ice milk often has stats as low as 70 calories a half cup. There's just too much compromise in the taste there for me though.

Once in a while, I love to have the full fat stuff.

Side note, if you don't have the control, don't get that peanut butter stuff, but seriously, that peanut butter froyo is legit. It's surprisingly fantastic.

Yeah that's the one. It's been a while since I bought it, but of the cheap ice creams, it's definitely a favourite.

Has anyone tried Cool Whey ice cream?

Do you mean Cool Way? The stuff at Wal Mart? I have and it's good. It's not great, but that's to be expected since it's not actually ice cream, it's a frozen dessert. I like the salted caramel.

    Valu Mart carries Halo Top.

Edit: I just saw that I was responding to an old post. Alright then, enjoy your Cool Way and Halo Top.

Those bars, are not what they seem to be. They are 55ml which is half of a serving 125ml for 100cal. Think about it :)
The way for me to control portions is to simply let the ice cream soften a bit, scoop and fill waffle cones and place back into freezer. Take one out at will :)

Deli world light rye bread is pretty good, and only about 130 calories for two slices.

That's actually extraordinarily good if true. Ontario?

Per 50g not 2 slices. Put the two slices on the scale. See what that add up to.

Thats what I mean about value for your buck. Why spend $5 for 500ml tub and still be 90-100cal range, when you can spend $4 for 2L tub and still get 90-100cal options?

but i want what i want (flavour wise). and i actually don`t want a full tub, i like to have my bit then get it out of the house. you can`t get THOSE kinds at those calories in the yogurts you listed. i don`t buy these often and it was a big random to have three in the house at once.

having said that, I DID look and did not find the frozen yogurts you listed with the better stats unless i get plain vanilla which i don`t want. Went to three stores and the selection of frozen yogurt was sad. will keep my eyes open for more options.

to each their own. i rather buy the flavour i prefer and smaller quantities as a treat VS best deal.

RCSS, NoFrills, Lablows they all have them all the time. Spend less to get more and excellent taste, why not? Scoop out the 500ml and throw the rest out, you are still saving money.
