    24th July: 146.6 scale, 146.6 trend
    31st July:

Success / struggles of the week: what a coincidence, trend and scale in unison again. Had two nights out in a row, one with my wife, one with the family. Love my in laws, had a good time. Struggling still with the idea/prospect of going out and not being in control of what is in the food that i choose at the restaurant. I usually try to pick something relatively healthy, wholesome, and at the same time something that i love/ would enjoy. Not always easy, but doable, of course. But unfortunately it stresses me out somewhat in the hours prior to outing. And being who i am, i absolutely can't hide it. So, for instance, one of the places we went was labeled as southern soulful food. So all i could think was, loads of grease, butter, lard, where the food is swimming in it. Ugghh. Not a pretty picture. Had some difficulty, and to be fair, they didn't have much of anything that wasn't fryed. So i had fryed sweet potatoes (were great, btw) and grilled!!! fish sandwich, that was blah! bland. Plus some drinks. I wish i can relax enough and not worry. I do know, of course, that it's just one meal, no bid deal. But somehow i menage to get stressed over it anyway. I guess it's a fear of slipping and regaining.

    24th July: 150.0, 150.0 by trend
    31st July:

Successes- I actually reached my "goal weight" according to mfp this week. Albeit, this was more of an arbitrary goal as I was more focused on an aesthetic, but it feels good nonetheless just to have done it. Plus I'm getting less and less tight about every single thing I'm eating as the weeks go on. My thoughts are less consumed with food, eating, weight, etc. so I feel like I'm in a happier place. I almost feel like a normal person, haha.

Struggles- I think I need to take away one of my cardio days, which is gonna be tough for my psyche. I think I'm still losing weight, so this will be my next step. I've just been so cardio heavy for so long that even saying it sounds crazy. I'm not going to do it quite yet, but I think that's my next step.

My migraine hit me really bad this week. I turned to food for some weird reason. I was senselessly eating/drinking anything and everything for no reason. I still made a point of clocking in my daily steps though.

I am so sorry that your migraines are giving you trouble this week! *hugs* I am amazed you were able to get walks in!

Here are the results. Not as dramatic as some people, but happy with the progress nonethesless. What do you think, can you see much difference? I'm the same weight in both pictures.

@CoachJen71 thankyou so much for your encouragement. I didn't have a migraine attack like it for a long while and I hope not to get it again any time soon. Walking was a way for me to get through the pain and frustration. It helped a little at least.

July was hard because I was on vacation for two weeks and didn't want to weigh-in any place but my usual place. So Here are the weigh-ins I have, but I am going to get back on the bus August!

    My only weigh-ins have been:
    July 18: 129
    July 24: 130
    July 25: 132.5
    July 26: 134
    July 27: 132

Of course I am nervous because I see that 132, which I haven't seen since June 3. Am I headed back up? Or is this just a fluctuation? I mean, did I gain 2.5 lbs from the 24 to the 25? Gain 1.5 from the 25 to the 26? And then lose 2 yesterday? It just drives me crazy. It is "that time of the month" this week though.

    Blah, what will happen tomorrow!!

@kalchthaleri Don't worry about that 134. It is probably just water weight from vacation. You are still in your range and you were already down again today.

    Height: 5'3.5"
Total Weight lost: ~70 lbs (I dropped about 10 lbs below original goal)
Time it took to lose: 10 months (to original goal of 135)
How long in maintenance: I called maintenance in July 2016, but I have continued to slowly lose so I'm not really sure.
Maintenance weight range: I am going to go ahead and lower my range again. For now it will be 120 - 125 lbs

Average weight recorded from January: 127.1
Average weight recorded from February: 126.5
Average weight recorded from March: 126.2
Average weight recorded from April: 124.9
Average weight recorded from May: 124.9
    Average weight from June: 122.8

    Week of...
    3rd July: 121.6 scale/122.5 trend
    10th July: 121.2 scale/122.2 trend
    17th July: 121.2 scale/122.1 trend
    24th July: 124.4 scale/122.7 trend
    31st July: 120.2 scale/121.9 trend

Success/struggles of the week: Not much going on this week. I'm keeping up with my running, but it has been sooo hot. I think I ate at a bit of a deficit this week, but mostly because it is too hot and when I run in the evening I don't want to eat too much before I run and then afterwards I just don't feel like eating. But I am still in range so not worried. Last week I was at the high end of range from the family reunion and this week I was at the low end because of the heat. I guess that is what maintenance is all about. Just going up and down within your range.

Total Initial WT lost: 36# (196 to 160#)
Time it took to lose: 6 months; May 15-Dec 9, 2016
    How long in maintenance: 7 months; Dec 9, 2016 - July 31, 2017

    Current Goal Weight: 158
    Maintenance WT range goal: 155-160
CPD Goal (TDEE)=2100; CPD=Calories per day consumed

    Average WT/CPD in December: 159.7/1915
    Average WT/CPD in January: 159.8/1854
    Average WT/CPD in February: 158.7/1835
    Average WT/CPD in March: 158.6/1847
    Average WT/CPD in April: 158.5/1924
    Average WT/CPD in May: 157.8/1887
    Average WT/CPD in June: 157.5/2033
    Average WT/CPD in July: 158.0/2101

July actual WT range (min/max) to date: 154.9-159.4
July CPD range (min/max) to date: 1734-2950

7-Day Moving Average WT/CPD as of:

    July 3: 157.9
    July 10: 158.2
    July 17: 157.8
    July 24: 157.8
    July 31: 158.1

    Notes/Comments:

No notable problems or difficulties this month. Hit my average weight and average CPD goals for the month almost exactly at 158# and 2100 cal/day.

I find it interesting that I am now maintaining at a higher CPD level (by about 10%) than when I started in maintenance 7 months ago. No idea why it's happening but believe that it's somehow related to a thermogenesis effect connected w/my high protein, high carb, low fat and low GI index diet.

Had my BF measured hydrostatically again on 7/13 which came in at 8.9% at 154.4#; BF wt was 13.75#. The extremely low weight at the time of testing was due to the fact that I had just spent 8 hours sunbathing. Found out that I can lose 3-4# of body weight due to water evaporation while sunbathing.

I weighed 158.4 that morning before I went sunbathing. If you divide the 13.75# BF measurement by 158.4, you get a BF% of 8.68% which I think is a more accurate measure of my BF% that day.

Reduced my exercise effort a bit this month because of extremely hot weather. Just too tired and lazy some days to work out in my garage and backyard under those conditions.

Very happy w/my progress and ability to maintain my weight in such a narrow range. Must be doing something right and am not going to change anything unless things change.

    Success/struggles of the week:
That was unexpected but I'll take it... This week I wasn't very active. It seems that there's a correlation between my activity level and weight in a negative way. The more active I am the higher my weight is and vice versa. Anyway my cousin's wedding is in 2 weeks, it'll be a short term goal to keep the weight in check.

Looks like this is a good weigh-in and getting back within the range I prefer to be. Today I prepped steak and roasted tomatoes to contribute to salads this week. It's gonna be over 100 degrees here in the pacific Northwest most of the week. I know I won't even want to move, let alone cook. We get this when the high sits over northern cali and pushes all the heat up this way. I also ran today to get that done for the week. Rest of the week will be pool or AC workout room. Keep pushing forward every one!

How I lost it: My story
How long in maintenance : I declared it at 140 in January 2016, but that was too high for a petite lady. Redeclared it 4/14/17.
Maintenance weight range: Would like to stay under 125 at morning weigh-in.
Ongoing struggle: I still need to learn to trust my body cues, be content with eating just enough, and stop asking food to be more than just fuel. Life after work is just filled with getting steps and eating food to fill my evening. Really need to make peace with having fewer cals to work with. Contentment and an attitude of gratitude (and maybe a hobby, like sign language) are the order of the day.

    January avg weight: 126.8lbs
    February avg weight: 126.1lbs
    March avg weight: 124.6lbs
    April avg weight: 122.9lbs
    May avg weight: 123.4lbs
    June avg weight: 122.6lbs
    July avg weight: 122.3lbs

    Week of...
    30th June: 122.6lbs
    7th July: 122.3lbs
    14th July: 122.8lbs
    21st July: 122.4lbs
    28th July: 121.8lbs

    Successes of the week:
    FB_IMG_1501512680817.jpg
Despite my arthritis, I freaking hiked 28 miles this weekend, and more than a third of them with 30lbs on my back! That is ¼ of my current weight! If you would like to see pics of this lesser known part of Acadia National Park, we put up an album of them here.

    Challenges of the week:
I ordered a grilled chicken salad and sweet tater fries, then lost my mind and got a brownie Sundae. It was ok, but my stupid allergies kept me from really tasting my food.
