Making positive changes!

Hello there! I use to teach aerobics and personal train. A back injury changed things for me, and I got on a track of not really watching or caring what I ate and found a love for soda, especially cream soda :) A few months back I decided it was time for a change and when I turned 42 I was really hoping to see a difference. I believe we must love ourselves no matter what our bodies look like and then the positive changes will be even healthier. We should be eating better and exercise to care for ourselves. I have always had a self esteem issue and I am also trying to make positive changes there. Learning to love myself. My biggest thing is I am really trying to tone up my body, legs, butt and tummy seem to be my trouble areas, and I am working on eating as clean as possible. I decided this time, if there was something I wanted as long as I was eating healthy most of the time I would treat myself to things. I think that possibly made me fail in the past as to NEVER letting myself have anything. I also drink mostly water, and try to get in at least 64 ounces + a day and one cup of coffee a day. I have been at this for a couple months now and feel so much better and my skin does also. I will share also other little things that I am doing along the way, that have really made changes in how I feel and how my skin feels! I hope to make friends here along their healthy journey also!

    Good idea hun!
You need to feel good doing this else it becomes a chore and you get to resent the diet, the fitness and thats when things fail!
As a PT you already know that which you need (Sorry to sound like Yoda) the building blocks are already there they just got a little dusty....or soaked in Cream Soda :p
I recently qualified as a PT and I wont preach the exercises need to work the areas you're looking to "tone" you already know.

Good Luck Samantha! No slipping this time! You can do this! x
