One day closer to my goal

Every day that passes is a day closer to my new journey to my new goal. In the pass I would get frustrated because I wouldn't see the pounds drop right away but what I didn't think about is that I didn't gain the pounds in a day it took me years to gain the pounds. This time I decided to take it one day at a time. We can do this !!!

That's a great way to think about it. I try to do the same as you but I did in fact put on my weight quick. I'd lost down 25 lbs to my first goal and gained it all back within 4 months last year. Stress and my love of food helped me pack it on fast. I'm hoping to keep it off this time!1

my mind set changed about a year ago when i turned 50, and decided that enough was enough, it was time to lose it, but for about 15yrs prior to that i worked nightshifts , so lack of sleep and eating before going to bed didn't help.
But thats all changed now, i work days sleep better and with the mindset change its working- if you don't change from your old habits it won't work-
i started at 456lbs in the beginning and reckon the journey would take 3yrs, i'm 18months in and 140lb lost,(10st) so as you say 1 day at a time.
