    Week of September 29

Struggles/successes of the week: This week I went WAY off my plan on Tuesday. I ate about 2000 extra calories. It's almost my "time of the month" and I was just so hungry all day. I keep needing to remind myself that my goal range is 128-135. Also, I was eating maintenance calories but I am not doing that anymore. It just causes too much anxiety. I went back to 1200 calories a day for Wednesday and Thursday after my explosion on Tuesday and it just helps me so much. If I give myself an inch, I want to take a yard. And I will. So no more 1550 days for me. Back to living with 1200 calories a day because it does seem to stabilize my weight and it does seem to be enough. I have energy and I don't get "food babies" and bloating like I do when I go up to 1550 calories a day.

@girlgroves I'm doing the same right now. Back to logging until I'm in a better place. However, trying to not use the kitchen scale yet. I want to test my self with "mindful" eating before going all strickt and rigid. Hopefully I won't need to.

I never strictly weighed and measured everything anyway, even all the while I was losing, so when I say 'logging all my calories' it's in my quite relaxed way, i.e. 'entering all that I eat in my diary and totalling it up at the end of the day so that I get an approximate estimate of what my calories have been'! But whatever works at getting us to watch what we're eating more carefully eh!? Good luck

Struggles: No real struggles this week. Just trying to keep things reasonable and tight.
Successes: I had a great run yesterday and hit a PR for pace. It's amazing what taking an unscheduled rest day will do for your stamina.
Upcoming week plan: First Friday weigh-in. I will keep on keeping on. I am traveling next week so I have written a gym plan and am trying to make my mileage goals but I think I will have to move my long run a day out. Will plan accordingly.

How long in maintenance: about 17 weeks
    Maintenance weight range: 148-153lbs

Average weight recorded from February: 182.4
Average weight recorded from March: 173.5

    11th of September: 149.6, trend 151.3
    18th of September: 150.7, trend 151.5

Successes- still fighting the good fight. Rolled with the punches a little more easily than I could in the beginning. Learning how to be ok with having to make adjustments to my plan and routine. I still don't like them, but I handle them better. Trusting myself to go to a food festival tomorrow, which is a huge gain for me. I'm so excited. I also changed my maintenance range. I got a little more realistic and went down about 2 pounds on each end. That's really where I've been maintaining and where I'm happier.

Struggles- as i mentioned above, i had to change my schedule this week. Moved my rest day pretty far, which bugs me, but i rolled with it. Also, i feel like my weight is overall trending upward. I'm hoping it'll actually level out in a bit, but luckily it's moving slow enough that i can nip it in the bud if it becomes a problem

Success: as per doctor's instructions, I'm only allowed to walk for 9 days, which means that I only got two "real" workouts in last week before the walking started. So I'm happy that I'm still on track.

Struggles: still feeling super tired and have to nap during the day, but it's getting better or at least I'm more used to it!

Not sure what I'm doing - usually I give up before I get to maintenance and gain all the weight back. My plan this time: upped my calories to maintenance level, going to keep logging, and just started the strong curves program!

    Success/struggles of the week:

Success: After taking some advice from other MFP members about my insatiable appetite, I've started to find a happy place where I'm not hungry all the time and meeting maintenance without feeling like I'm starving half the day.

Struggles: I'm actually 2lbs below maintenance. My range is 170 - 175lbs, I was shocked to see 168 on the scale this morning. So, while I've 'started' finding a balance, I still haven't found it yet.
