Successes/struggles of the week: Very pleased with myself this week. The scale wasn't going back down to within my happy range fast enough (and all my clothes were uncomfortably tight!), so I've taken to logging all my calories again temporarily until I'm back within range - and it has really helped. I'm so happy to know that I can always use this as a tool whenever I need to . Apart from a tiny bit of mindless munching on breakfast cereal straight from the box last night (I know - wth!?) I've done very well with my eating this week.5 -

Struggles/successes of the week: This week I went WAY off my plan on Tuesday. I ate about 2000 extra calories. It's almost my "time of the month" and I was just so hungry all day. I keep needing to remind myself that my goal range is 128-135. Also, I was eating maintenance calories but I am not doing that anymore. It just causes too much anxiety. I went back to 1200 calories a day for Wednesday and Thursday after my explosion on Tuesday and it just helps me so much. If I give myself an inch, I want to take a yard. And I will. So no more 1550 days for me. Back to living with 1200 calories a day because it does seem to stabilize my weight and it does seem to be enough. I have energy and I don't get "food babies" and bloating like I do when I go up to 1550 calories a day.

@girlgroves I'm doing the same right now. Back to logging until I'm in a better place. However, trying to not use the kitchen scale yet. I want to test my self with "mindful" eating before going all strickt and rigid. Hopefully I won't need to.0

I never strictly weighed and measured everything anyway, even all the while I was losing, so when I say 'logging all my calories' it's in my quite relaxed way, i.e. 'entering all that I eat in my diary and totalling it up at the end of the day so that I get an approximate estimate of what my calories have been'! But whatever works at getting us to watch what we're eating more carefully eh!? Good luck0 -

Successes- still fighting the good fight. Rolled with the punches a little more easily than I could in the beginning. Learning how to be ok with having to make adjustments to my plan and routine. I still don't like them, but I handle them better. Trusting myself to go to a food festival tomorrow, which is a huge gain for me. I'm so excited. I also changed my maintenance range. I got a little more realistic and went down about 2 pounds on each end. That's really where I've been maintaining and where I'm happier.
Struggles- as i mentioned above, i had to change my schedule this week. Moved my rest day pretty far, which bugs me, but i rolled with it. Also, i feel like my weight is overall trending upward. I'm hoping it'll actually level out in a bit, but luckily it's moving slow enough that i can nip it in the bud if it becomes a problem3 -

Success / struggles of the week : not much on either end, good week, continue to work on my nightly snacking and cravings. My biggest problem every night are jars with nuts, and yes, i have a few different ones with various selection. I do not exclude a single one of them during my nightly rounds. What I've been doing differently though, is instead of handfuls, putting them into a small samples cup, and try not to eat too many while i fill it up. And although i do usually come back to refill it, this process sets some limitations. If i had some heavier snacks during the day, i remind myself of it and go light on the nuts, or none at all, especially if we had dinner out, or something like that. This appears to be working for me, so i intend to carry on. Interestingly enough, i can regulate my chocolate intake relatively easy, even though chocolate was my biggest vice.6 -

Success/struggles of the week:
Success: After taking some advice from other MFP members about my insatiable appetite, I've started to find a happy place where I'm not hungry all the time and meeting maintenance without feeling like I'm starving half the day.
Struggles: I'm actually 2lbs below maintenance. My range is 170 - 175lbs, I was shocked to see 168 on the scale this morning. So, while I've 'started' finding a balance, I still haven't found it yet.3 -

I realized I've officially been in maintenance for a year as of this week! I need to reward myself! Now I just have to figure out what I would like, hadn't even been thinking along those lines, lol, just glad to have made it. First time I've kept weight off that long.
My goal this fall is to get my trend line below 155 consistently. It's crept up about a pound this year. I know it's not a lot but for some reason I haven't been able to get it down and I decided I would just be happier to see it below my range line.
Here is a video my trainer put together for me 2 years ago when I reached the -100 lb mark. I lost another 50 after that. I hope the FB link works.
