That book is a total head job.

I love it so far! *1Q84 (oops, typo)

I knew exactly what you meant. It gets wackier. But then ... Murakami is like that.

All of his books are like that; haven't read a single one that wasn't wacky and wild in some way. ;)

This is going on my list now, I am very intrigued

Finished the last book of The Noel series - The Noel Letters by Richard Paul Evans
Not sure what I'll start now. Have to go through my shelves.

Currently rereading book 6 of The Warrior Chronicles by Bernard Cornwell.
Had to restart the series before reading the last book, now that it is available.

Carr? If that's the one ... It is pretty good.

I'm on Babylon's Ashes (Correy), the...6th?...book in the Expanse series.

...and when I asked if it was Carr earlier...not Carr...Michael Shaara! I bought it at the same time as, oh, probably The Italian Secretary, and so always think of Carr when I hear the name.

I have just started reading 'The end of men' by Christina Sweeney-Baird. It's a bit hard to read because of the current Covid-19 situation but it's also hard to put down.

I’m currently reading through my classroom library - I can’t recommend it if I haven’t read it. So I’m reading “Deep Sea Explorer” The Story of Robert Ballard, Discoverer of the Titanic.

ATthousand Splendid Suns - another book by the author of The Kite Runner

so far ok, I am sort of in the middle and he completely changed characters seemingly randomly, I am waiting to see how they tie in together

Read Kite Runner several years ago...it was very well written and very hard to read (emotionally). Have not wanted to read anything similar. I read for fun, I get enough reality my job.
