    Edit:

    Please Read:

    Hello,

Starting around 10am PST, Food Search went down. This may look like an "offline mode" alert when you are online, no search results yielding, or an inability to search at all. We are investigating right now and hope to have things back to normal as soon as possible. We're sorry for the frustration we know this causes!

We will continue to update this article as more information becomes available. Please check back for further updates.

(The date is wrong it's actually Jan. 2, 2018)

Mine is saying offline too - I’m on WiFi and have uninstalled and reinstalled. I can add foods by scanning the barcode but every food I add manually shows as offline mode

Seems like this app is junk if it won’t work for two days in a row

The app can be glitchy. Report it to MFP and see if there is a fix or not.

Glad to know I'm not the only one having this problem. In case it matters, I'm on an iPhone 6, iOS 11.1.2, and I have made sure my app is the most current version.

That post from tech was from 2017 but updated in 2018. Maybe it's an annual issue???

4 different Members with only 1 post each? Sounds to me like 1 guy with too much time on his hands trying to stir up things.

Same issue here. I have deleted and reinstalled the app. I have also reset my router and reset my network setting - same problem. At this point, I’m assuming it’s a problem on their end. Hope it’s fixed soon!

Actually it says it was updated on Jan. 2, 2018. Also it states it was made on Tuesday Jan 2, 2017 however that would be a typo because last year Jan. 2 was a Monday. It being the new year, it's easy to type 2017 when you mean 2018.
