Hello everyone.

Hello, I am Andrew and I am 32 years old and I live in the North East of Scotland. I've been overweight for the best part of 14-15 years. At the beginning I did not really notice or care much about the increase. But since I hit 30 I have tried and failed numerous times to lose the flab. Whatever I lost I've always put back on.

My latest attempt has had a boost this time, I started attending a NHS run "Healthy Helpings" group at my local hospital, then I discovered this site and the app, and lastly I stumbled across DDP Yoga when looking at youtube. The Arthur Boorman story was among the most inspirational videos I have even seen.

Within a few weeks I was already confident I could do better this time around. I was the heaviest I'd ever been as well, which made me more determined. I also purchased a Fitbit One which is helping too.

I've been a viewer on this forum for a while, but I've now decided to share my story. I've lost 9lbs already just by cutting down my calories, I've set it at 1750 per day, combined with regular walks and the ddpyoga I am seeing small but very satisfying results.

Long may it continue...
