This one is just my own personal cringe-worthy phrase. Used often by my ex.
Whenever I'd ask her if she preferred "this vs. that" she'd just say, "It's according"
It's according?
She meant that it would depend on other factors, but she'd just say "It's according" WTF! My god she was a monster. So glad I don't have to listen to that nonsense anymore!
Maybe I'm sharing too much. Oh well. This has been cathartic.
See, this is where I would be brutally honest and say well "according" to me "You're stupid and so are your annoying sayings".1 -
"It's not rocket surgery"4

"One second"
My daughter says the all the time when she is told to do something she has no intention to actually do. 1) Even if you were willing and cooperative, it would take longer than "one second" 2) it annoys me even more when five minutes later she is still sitting on her butt and not making any effort to what was asked and when told again to do it, she responds with an annoyed tone "one second"1 -
Just caught my self thinking "Ya, No"...note to self stop now2

I know what you mean. In NZ, the term thick has always been used to describe someone who is not smart or is stupid.
Yep.. they are thick here too lol3 -
"It's not rocket science..."
I want to punch my husband every single time he says it to me.
Lol. I said that to my husband once and then followed it with, but I guess you're not a rocket science. He then informed me that since he is an engineer who deals with propulsion that he technically is a rocket scientist.
