do you weigh your food on scales?

how much have you gained in what time frame?

    1) how often do you weigh yourself and do you always do it in the same clothes & at the same time of the day (for example in the morning)
    2) how long has it been? if it's only been a couple of weeks you could be seeing normal weight fluctuations
    3) are you weighing and logging all your food and liquids correctly?
    4) did you set your activity level correctly/log your exercise correctly?
    5) did you recently start a new exercise routine that might be causing a bit of a temporary increase in weight?
    6) did you maybe weigh at different points of a menstrual cycle (when bloated etc) - if you're a woman? Or maybe after a salty meal?

    etc

there's really a lot that could be going on and it's hard to say without more information

How did you come up with your calories? Sounds like they are simply too high for you

Iv been dieting for about 6 weeks, first 4 weeks stayed the same last two weeks have been a gain.
Yes iv been weighing a logging my foods correctly, im always under my calories aswell.
No recently new exercise only treadmill and spin bike.
I dont have menstrual cycles due to depo injection, so im not sure whether that will still effect it or not.

what are your calorie goals? you'd have to be overeating by quite a bit to put on 5lbs of actual weight in 2 weeks (might just be fluctuations), but you say you stayed the same for the month before, so if you're sure you're logging your food ok maybe your deficit is overestimated?

Im also type 2 diabetic and have PCOS so im not sure whether this would effect it?

I can't say much about diabetes but I also have PCOS and I'm short (only about 5'2) - I'm losing on roughly 1300 calories a day

are you positive your logging is accurate? you're using a scale, and not forgetting any cooking oils, condiments, little bites here and there, etc? it can be pretty hard when you have a small number of calories to work with - little inaccuracies could add up and wipe out your deficit

If you open your diary up, we might be able to see if there is anything that jumps out, because you definitely shouldn't be having issues losing weight eating 900 calories per day unless you're about 4 foot.
