    Remember when Yahoo messenger, AIM, or MSN messanger was "social media"? I remember getting on after school to see "who was online". But only if no one had to use the phone, lol.

    Rember old skool emoticons? Things like this:

    *<(:^))8 = clown
    @(:^) = Marge simpson
    #(:^(|)= Homer simpson
    @->;-- = Rose
    Or when people signed thier messenger accounts with those really elaborate ones that made pictures...

    EDIT: When the @ or # symbol did not mean "link here"

    Remember when people didn't annoy me so much. Oh yeah that was when I didn't have to work and be around annoying people all day.

    Oh well. Only another, say, 30 odd years of this to go. 👌👍

    When no one cared what was in ice cream. It was just ice cream and you enjoyed it with the family. There was one type of ice cream and it was called ice cream.

    Now they're churning all these chemicals into the ice cream to juke the stats. I don't trust no 15 calorie Rocky Road. Stop making me spend 15 min in the ice cream aisle looking for the real ice cream I grew up on. Ok, I switched to Ben & Jerry's vegan ice cream a few years ago, but still.

    I may be dating myself here but remember when clipping a roach clip with a feather dangling off of it into your hair was a thing?

    Oh yes. Did that in elementary school and didn't know what roach clips were until college.

    I did this in elementary and some of high school lol!

    Ck1. Everyone in my high school wore this stuff (except me, we were too poor). Looking back, I feel sorry for the teachers!

    Harem pants. I kinda wish they'd come back, they were comfortable.

    Cordless phones with an antenna. I always used to forget about the antenna when I took the phone upstairs and it would hit the ceiling.
