Lots accomplished this weekend. Painters beginning today (a day early). Ready to get this stuff done and look forward to the move in later this week.
Stopped by to see old hood yesterday. Seems weird to be a visitor at a place you've known for so long.

Good Morning!
Back from an awesome vacation! Connie and I had a great time. We saw some of the most beautiful country that I think that I've been to. We did a heck of a lot of driving, but it was simply a nice vacation. Easing back into the fray today with yard work and chores. Jumping back in with both feet, tomorrow.
Skip, I hope it finishes smoothly with the house, and that you get to move in this week!
Dave, awesome to hear that you are back in the shop! You will be turning masterpieces before you know it.

Good Morning BBB.
Tom and I are heading out late morning to look for a 5th wheel toy hauler - planning to trade in our 32’ camper trailer. Probably going to stay within the Keystone family but who knows - we are open. We need a destination to focus our energy on to get this house sale energy moving!
Mary - we have planted two St Joseph statues - one in the front and one on the back!
David - I hope you are able to work on your lathe for extended periods of time soon. You are so very talented. I use the bowl you gifted my twice a day to meet out my supplements and think of you each time!
Lee - is this your third year doing the straw bales? - I’ve lost track.
Steve - good to hear you two enjoyed your vacation.
Dennis - Emma needs to talk to Jack about Mother’s Day - I got nothing!
Bill - I’m sure you can see the finish line - fantastic! You guys have been through so much in the last year or so - you deserve to be settled and normal if that is possible.

Happy Mothers Day to all the moms among you!
Spent the day with the kids yesterday (DS, DDIL and two grandkids), picnicking and visiting local fest, in warm sunshine. So fantastic to look out over island-dotted Puget Sound, with the snow-capped Olympic Mountains as a backdrop. We live in a beautiful place.
Heading to DS's house for Mothers Day brunch, after church. Supposed to be 85, today.0 -

Actually fourth year, Raine. One of the cool things about the straw bales is the compost pile. I haven't had to buy any peat or garden soil for in ground beds for last three years.
I'm hanging out with DW tonight and cooking in for Mother's Day. Our boys aren't around, so we are just taking it easy. Babe and Tess got her a card and some chocolates. I got her favorite cake made by her favorite bake shop.

Today we pick up our 2 lilacs to plant in honor our Mothers. I can't think of a better way to honor them and keep their memory alive close to us for the many years we plan to live here.
Ds2 is coming over to cook for me later. And I'm to pick out a fancy new purse from my sons-yay! (my idea). I hate spending money for stuff the that! And I'm still spending my garden center triple digit gift card they gave my at xmas!
I'm planting tomatos and poppy and basil and gladiolus and lilacs today. SO is finishing pressure washing the east side of the house and done. Looks great!. Wow it was dirty !

Happy mother's day
We camped last night in northern Arkansas. I had called ahead to get an early check-in for my hotel for the week so after a super early breakfast and a short bike ride I sent Ron in his way home for the 6 hour drive home.
I'm going to do laundry and hopefully get in a nap. One coworker will be here tonight so we will likely have dinner. The rest for the troups arrive tomorrow. We are reconfiguring the store here this week.0 -
