Sweating for the wedding. ;) What are some tips you guys have for sticking to your guns when it's comes to being disciplined about eating healthy and working out? And also creating a lifestyle with it?

    Not being facetious...

    *Starting! First and foremost.
*Knowing that you will constantly be learning.
*Dont worry about being perfect (progress, not perfection).
*Understanding that you will fail (at times).
*Realizing that you need to ttust the process.

    Congratulations on the wedding!

Creating a healthy lifestyle stands in constrast to going all in. Healthy eating should taste delicious and make you feel well. A few simple and easy boundaries for every day, and some loosening up on special occasions, means that you never have to get back on, or think about guns, or rely heavily on discipline, or any other things that are associated with failure.

The biggest thing for me is changing my mindset about food. Food is fuel to survive. Yes, it can taste good, but it shouldn't be in the back of your mind every second. You eat to live, you shouldn't live to eat. If you can make that change with how you think about food (or your relationship with food, if you will) then the change seems so much easier.

    Congrats on the upcoming nuptials!
