Lose 5lbs + in September 2018

Happy Sunday, everyone!
Well I was on my way to a small loss, and then the scale decided to push back. My eating has been erratic this week, I did well for the first part of the week, then the office potluck and dinner at a restaurant with friends on the same day, and snacks at a concert the next day... and then my daughter dropped in by surprise for a visit (a rare occurrence) and that meant lunch out... so the results are not unexpected.
I'd rather take a zero gain/loss and enjoy some time with friends and family.
Onward into October. Still good weather here in the South to do lots of outdoor stuff. We haven't been out and about as much the last few weeks but I'm eager to get back into my regular routine.
Highest weight ever: 254 in October 1999.
Lowest since 1999: 195.
Original starting weight: 243 in 2015.
MFP Starting weight December 25th, 2016: 233
Goal: 180 in however long it takes.
Weekly averages:
August 20th to August 26th: 200.3
September 1st - 10th - Vacation. No scale, are way too much!
September 9th - 15th: 201.1
September 16th - 23rd: 201.1 - no loss is better than a gain!
September 24th - 30th: 201.1 - Well... what can I say?
Loss for September: 0.8 GAIN .
MFP Loss: 31.9 lbs
Total cumulative loss since mid 2015: 41.9 lbs

I logged every bite of food, plus I was much more consistent with exercise. These are nice habits to develop and will eventually lead to more good habits, with weight loss being a super nice side effect! I'm more than ready for October!1 -
Will be weighing in this week for Septembers results real soon. Just trying to get this water retention down. Lot's of salty dinners lately!
When October's group comes up, guess I'll post it then.
