So happy for you, Raine. Yes, time with Tess is awesome. Such a sweet dog. Lots of woodcock in the woods and that really hypes her up. Those wee birds must have an intoxicating scent.
Saw a video on FB of some guy in a clown mask scaring the bejeezus out of his DMIL. Immediately thought of Skip. Imagine the Marine and Airman found a wee dram last night.

Great day with me Dad. Rained all day but we spent 7 hours making Pork BBQ and 10 guests didn't leave much for leftovers. We had a good time. He liked his 70th Bday gifts.
Today off to a winery to meet friends and then taking Dad to Post for some Jarhead humor.

OK, Skip, so I am one year younger than your dad. Makes me feel old in this company.
Kind of jealous of your Noreaster, Lee. We need a big wind to knock all the leaves off the trees at once. Instead, they make a lot more work as we have to clear them up multiple times over the course of a month and a half.
DW is baking two kinds of cookies, banana bread and lemon bars, today, to take to church tomorrow. The house will smell great, but I am ordered out of the kitchen for the duration of the action.0 -

WW went good this morning, funny how much better things run when techs have been charged, sync'd and updated before meeting. Numbers off but if I did not have to be up on a cold damp day I would sleep in also; of course DMIL was up at 6 this morning banging her cane on hardwood floors.
Other than GA-FL game no plans for rest of day.
Pray DD18 is improving, UTIs are no fun.
Kelly, hope you are feeling better soon; is this what Gary had last week?

Totally blew through points yesterday, neighbor had a party which had select invitees; older neighbors were surprised we were invited. Bob had one leg removed last November other in February; reckon he wanted to do something for those that checked on him and helped. He is 87, no family near by and has a wonderful outlook on life. One of first people to welcome us to neighborhood. He had beer, wine, lemonade, hamburgers, hot dogs, chili, all sorts of dips, chips, cheese, crackers, cakes, brownies; enough for about 60 but only invited about 40. DMIL showed up had 3 solo cups of wine and disappeared, got home and she was snickered.

Happy Saturday! It's been a good day here so far. I woke up super early for no apparent reason, so I did some writing. The pastor is putting together an Advent book of daily readings for December, based on certain scriptures and recovery, and asked me to do a few. I wrote 3 today and got them to him. It reminds me of how much I loved writing for WW. I am honored that he asked me to do the Christmas Day one!
I did my group at the rehab house, hung out with a sweet friend for a while (and met her 3 littles ... oh my goodness they're so sweet!), and had a nice nap. Now I'm hoping to talk Dh into another date night tonight.

Sam, I'm glad you made this list! As for my Dd, she has a kidney infection, not a UTI, but she's really doing a LOT better now. I never saw ... who is your DM? And how do you like the new WG observation form?

Lisa, DM is Dominque; WG observation is OK; per Dominque I'm doing good just need to push rewards and ask members how they are progressing with rewards. Know most members; trying to convince members neither I nor a scale has any control over their week (Mindset), but that was and continues issue for years. She likes our meeting place and setup which is good got WC to commit to only being off 1 more Sat. this year.
