For anyone who has been around our community longer than a year, you know that January isn't a typical month here. As countless people make New Year's resolutions, download related apps, join gyms, etc... we see a bunch of new folks (aka noobs) joining our site and visiting our forums.
For all members, noobs and veterans... please take a moment to read our Community Guidelines
. We have updated them in recent months so if you haven't checked them out recently, please take a few moments to re-familiarize yourself.
For noobs -- we are thrilled you are here and hope you will find this community for the incredible resource of support and information it can offer you. Please read our guidelines, check out this discussion to get you going, read the "stickies" or announcements posted at the top of each category, please note that different categories have different expectations, don't go into the Debate section for example unless your goal is to respectfully debate a particular topic.
For our veterans -- we love that you are still here and value all of the support you offer each other and new members of the community. We encourage you to remember that it's important to be patient with new posters, we know it's like a crowded gym here the first few weeks, and that many people won't last but some will and we want to support and help those folks with kindness and respect. Being new is hard, please keep that in mind and if you are struggling with how often a basic question is asked, or the newest fad of this year is driving you mad... just walk away and don't engage where you can't positively.
