Breast feeding?!

Hi does anyone know if there is a way to tell the app you are breastfeeding? According to the NHS website I need an extra 500kcal per day. Will I just have to go over by 500 each day or is there a better way to do this? TIA

    There is an entry for breastfeeding in the exercise diary and the food diary.

    I just set mine to 1850; my maintence. So basically the nursing creates a deficit of 300-500 daily (no way to know exact burn for sure); that's a lossof 0.6-1.0lb/wk. Easier than posting every day a dairy item about nursing.

    But try your calories and see what makes you lose. I stopped mpf for a while bx i hit pp weight and maintained while eating 2500+ (i can't be the only one starving from nursing). Decided I'm going to try to lose the 10 i gained just before i was preg now, so back to logging.

    when I was breastfeeding, and this is what i plan to do when I breastfeed again, I set my goal to maintain current weight. Breastfeeding burned enough calories to make me lose weight.
