Before... sedentary and obese at 209 lbs I was completely out of breath just going up one flight of stairs or walking half a block. Also feeling the aches and pains of obesity related diseases.
After... lost 43 lbs and found my passion for trail running, now I can run up and down hills and mountains any time I feel like it! No more aches or pains, the obesity related diseases have been reversed. I’ve been at my maintenance weight of 167 lbs for over 6 years now. I’m 45 and I feel fantastic! Don’t let age deter you, it’s never too late to improve your health!

@RunsWithBees You have no shoes on while you're running--you must have some strong feet to be able to handle rocks and pointy objects!3

Actually running in shoes caused me pain and suffering! Tried barefoot out of desperation and it feels natural and normal to me, been running this way for 6 years with no issues. It’s so fun, I feel like a kid again!

Mine is a before and during! 5 months progress, but I've hit halfway to final goal: 21 lbs gone with 20 more to go
