Hello everyone I recently just joined myfitnesspal, but I've trying to lose weight for some time now. However, It's quite hard because I'm a severe emotional eater. If Im really stressed, depressed or even bored, I will literally eat whatever is in my path, which is really embarrasing to say. Because of this, I can't get my weight down from 150lbs. Occasionally it drops to 146, but I'm positive that that's just water weight.In addition, my BMI considers me to be overweight. Regardless I'll continue to try my best.

Hi @honeyacid! I'm glad you're here. I am also an emotional eater -- I am a food addict. I've been reading books about it lately and also going to addiction meetings. It is helping me quite a bit to understand the disease and also to gain some actual tools to use.
