I'm so glad there are other people like me! I'm 51 and could definitely lose another 10lbs but I really want to build more muscle and just enjoy a little extra food. I've been conflicted for months.3

I’m 54 in July and haven’t been in this good a shape in years.
Like a lot of you here, I do only compound exercises with just a smattering of assistance work; curls and tricep work mostly.
Love the feeling I get when I put the weights up but have to say am very careful and back off weight if I feel it’s too much and only up again when I find it easier.
Injured myself doing deadlifts with poor form, hence my being careful. (Ok now)
I’d like to loose another 1/2 stone or so but enjoy the lifting too much to really cut cals.
Good to hear about all in the 50 plus club!1
