I think I just made a mistake, only buying one pair. These might be the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Almost certainly the lightest, they disappear on my feet. Swoon!

    These say "barefoot" on the inside of the shoe, and this is how Merrell describes them:

    Minimal look. Maximum performance. This barefoot shoe has a sock-like feel for a locked-down fit, plus a Vibram® sole for lightly cushioned performance.

    I'm not actually supposed to wear them barefoot, am I? I should wear a thin pair of socks, right? Just to protect my feet from boosters and whatnot?

    That's probably a dumb question, I've never owned running shoes before. I didn't know your not supposed to run 10k in a normal t-shirt and learned the hard way, now I'm ready to learn the way way by asking dumb questions. :smile:

    I wear them with socks. Barefoot refers to the minimalist design.
    They were the most comfortable shoes I ever had until I got a pair of Saucony ?? .... (can't remember the model).
