Any small women? (4’11 calorie question)

I’m 4’11 108 lbs and have body fat to lose. I’m trying to lower bf % to see abs.
My calories have beeen at 1200 and I hit a plateau. I’m sedentary and I love 3 d a week. Some calculators tell me to eat 1000- 1100 a day but I’m already struggling on 1200. Small ladies with abs/flat tummies, what is your cal intake?

    I’m not quit as short, 5’1 and maintain around 100-105 lbs.

    Your calories 1200 plus eating back exercise calories sounds correct.

    It is a question of are you accounting for your calories using the best methods possible-
    A food scale for all solid foods, cups/spoons for liquids only.

    Double checking entries against the USDA database, packaging, or mfg web site.

    Unfortunately, being so petite you are going to lose slowly, 0.5 lbs a week, or maybe even less.

    As far as abs/flat tummy, a lot of that is down to stripping down the fat and building some muscle.
    Starting to lift weights will help you sculpt your body. Look for the ‘which lifting programme is best for you’ in the gaining sub forum (see below) and chose a suitable programme.

    You could also look in the maintenance subforum for the recomp thread (see below). You may do well running a recomp at the weight you are at now, or just a couple of pounds lower.

    Don’t forget to eat back your exercise calories, activity needs fueling.

    I’m 4”11 and weigh 98 pounds mfp gives me 1200 to lose and maintain I’m currently maintaining at 1250 to 1350 calories a day I am also sedatary with a desk job hope this helps you
