    I can do something mellow if I get out right away usually, but if it's more than an hour or two after I wake up I'm too hungry and low energy.

    yes I train at 5 am I have coffee prior to training.

    I never was an early eater. First meal has always been after 10:30 am. IF fits my lifestyle. It does not help me lose fat. I IF when bulking too.

    I train fasted in the early AM. Usually powered by some type of caffeinated beverage (coffee, bang, etc).

    There's no way I'm eating before I hit the gym at 4:30 a.m. :s

    I can do an hour workout or run first thing in the morning fasted just fine. When I have tried to go past I can tell. If I am doing a long run (90min or more) on the weekend I prefer to eat a small meal (100-200 calories) prior.

    I do. I’m up around 4 am and usually have a little bit of orange juice before my workouts but that’s it.

    Always. I often do 20:4 IF and have no problem with long hikes(15+ miles), runs, and heavy lifting. I usually work out mid to late morning. I learned years ago that if I have had any amount of food 3 hours before a workout I will puke. An empty stomach is no prob for me to work out with.
