Hi. My name is Trina. I've been back on MFP for a year now, am down 65 pounds and just 4 pounds from my revised goal weight! A year ago, this seemed like a pipe dream. I've been doing this challenge since Round 54 and it has been a blessing in helping to keep me focused and positive through the daily ups and downs of this journey to better health! Thanks to all for the wonderful support!

07/02 133 New low. This is actually the usual pattern. Down a little down a little more, than spike up before coming down...and then to a new low. It works...but it's a crazy ride! Strenghth class and zumba yesterday. Ate clean and healthy.
07/03 132 A new low! Definitely this one goes back 27 years. Not sure I've seen this number since I've been married! Stuck to low carb yesterday. Only a half of a real brownie my son made and then I made myself a pretty dang marginal brownie in a mug...which satisfied my craving to make a brownie in a mug, anyway and was at least filling. (P.S. I'm silently and in slow motion jumping up and down for joy....don't want the scale to hear me and backtrack!)
07/04 133 --Oooh. Definitely happy to still be seeing these numbers! 90 minute zumba party with 350 people this morning at the YMCA
07/05 133.5 -- Not bad after July 4th. Had a glass of wine and half of a piece of cheesecake, dinner was chicken and salad -- but the salad had lots of candied nuts and dried cherries). Ended dinner really full! Drank lots of water.
07/06 134.5 Yesterday was a good day. Strength class, step class, did some extra squats/step ups/planks and ate fine. Hopefully this is the uptick before the whoosh? Or just the scale in a bad mood! (I stepped on the scale after zeroing it this morning and must have shifted funny--because the first weight it gave me was 000.0. Yeah, right! Must have triggered the zeroing function when I stepped up!
07/07 133.5 Stuck to the plan!
07/08 134 Yesterday walked and did some body weight exercises. Today just walked and pushups--children and dr's apptmt interfered with zumba and strength classes!
07/09 133 There we go. That's what I was waiting for. 5 mile walk today with a friend. Now I need to do some cleaning.
07/10 132.5 Hopefully heading down to stay!
07/11 132 !! Zumba yesterday and walk. Totally happy with this! Officially within maintenance range. Planning on continuing down to 128 and then maintaining 128 - 132.

07/02: DNW Out of Town
07/03: DNW Flew back from the UK today, so long day with lots of sitting and eating. Couldn't wait to have a big salad at dinner and get some exercise in on the elliptical! Will weigh tomorrow, but expect weight will be up as usually retain water/feel bloated after long flights, not to mention being out of town and eating out for the last 6 days. Hope weight is not too far off from where I left off at end of last round (138.8). Will be going out of town with family after the 4th for the weekend so will start back at the gym consistently next Monday.
07/04: 139.4 Yep weight up from where it was at the end of last round, but only 0.7 pounds, so I'll take that as a success given all the eating out/drinking and long travel day. Rained out of going to the pool (although I rarely swim laps) so did find time to get in an elliptical workout and free weights and had a pretty good workout at home! Will see what tomorrow brings.
07/05: 138.2 Woohoo! Whoosh to get rid of fluid build up after travel! Below ending weight from last round!
Up early today so got in a cardio workout on elliptical at home, then time to pack up with family for long weekend sailing. Won't have much in the way of cardio, but will try to keep active! Only one dinner out (which will likely involve pasta) so will enjoy 'cause there is always Monday to hit the gym!
07/06 DNW
07/07 DNW Back in town, will weigh in tomorrow am.
07/08 136.6 Woohoo! big drop over the holiday weekend is nice and trends indicate that I am back on target after overseas trip. Not to mention that this is below my goal weight for this round!!! Really tried to stay semi-active over the weekend: sailing, some running intervals with the dog, playing sharks and minnows with the kids and tried to watch food calories; having only one meal out helped a lot as I prepared the rest. Great 45 minutes on elliptical to Apple Music 90's workout mix (best workout so far for staying in the peak zone!) when we got back home last night, and then spin class for 45 minutes and strength training lower body this am to get back in the groove at the gym. Hope this "whoosh" stays with me for the rest of the round but won't be surprised if there is a gain tomorrow after the heavy leg workout today which often results in water retention.
07/09 136.7 As expected a gain, although 0.1 pounds is in the noise - so happy to see that the bump was not any bigger! This am did full hour+ of upper body strength training - usual machines plus added in bench press, overhead/military press, and up-right row with barbell on the smith machine (no real barbells at gym). Back to the gym this evening for 30 minutes of cardio on the spin bike and then 45 minute pilates class for core and more stretching. Feeling more DOMS in legs so may have water retention tomorrow (hope weight is stable for end of round as still below goal!). Food should be fine for the day - lunch calories are approximate for sashimi, greens, seaweed salad, and other vegetables as guesstimating portions, but dinner was homemade turkey burgers with mint, basil, ginger, and kaffir lime leaves (minced young leaves) with a big salad. Just need to hide the left over tortilla chips from the trip this weekend so that I am not tempted to have a late night snack - saving the extra calories instead for a glass of red wine and will relax!
07/10 137.0 Not too surprising based on how legs felt yesterday; also sore back after pilates. Seems to be a typical pattern as well of a big drop followed by some small increases and then another drop. Felt much better this morning and did 60 minutes of spin bike (class + 20 min extra), leg strength training and then walked 1.5 miles. Meals today were higher in protein than yesterday, and much lower carb, so will see if that helps with water retention. Calories as measured/guestimated should be within target relative to exercise to lead to an eventual drop! Even though there was a bump today, the highlight was looking at my reminder from 5 weeks ago that MFP predicted my weight today would be 141, and it is actually much lower! Even if the model MFP uses to predict is not accurate (I don't include my exercise calories) still feels like a win!
07/11 136.1 Yeah!!!!! made goal for this round and lost 2.7 pounds since last round!!! Really pushed hard during the spin class and stayed in the peak cardio zone for 46% of the time; then did overhead press, up-right rows and bench press on the smith machine. Debating whether to go back for the tabata cardio/strength class and do the rest of the upper body weight exercises this evening. Calories are on track so far for the day - I plan to have grilled tuna with a passion fruit sauce and large salad for dinner so focusing on low GI carbs today. Finding that eating a snack of almonds is helpful for digestion (particularly for days, when I have more protein relative to carbs)
Looking forward to the next round - thanks everyone!!!

RSW - 149.6 lbs
RGW - 147.0 lbs
UGW: 145 lbs (Maybe. Now that I'm under 150, I'd like to focus on muscle building and strength training, so I'll be flexible with that UGW. For now I want to make sure I'm comfortably below 150).
Round 81 (My 1st Round): SW 150.2, EW 149.6 (- 0.6 lb)
Round 82 Goals:
- Charge my HRM and wear it to a few kickboxing classes to get a better baseline for calories burned in my workouts.
- Stick to my planned meals for this week (shakes for breakfast, greek salad bowls for lunch, dinners with veggies, lean meats and not a ton of starchy carbs). Over the weekend, make another meal plan and prep for next week.
- Drink at least 3 tumblers of my water while at work each day.
Day/Weight/Comment:
7/02 - 148.4: A nice way to get Round 82 going! I hit my water goals yesterday, stuck to my food, and went to the gym for a nice sweaty boxing session. I'm finding it really beneficial to weigh the whole dish for a meal that isn't easy to portion out by volume/sight (last night's dinner was a "lightened" up chicken Parmesan casserole), and then just weighing my portion to confirm the serving size. I'm also finding that we do well when I have alternatives in place, instead of making two different dinners or expecting my husband and son to eat as light as I am. Last night, I wanted a little extra texture, so I ate my serving of chicken parm on top of 2 air-fried eggplant rounds, and the boys put theirs over gnocchi. I did eat back all of my tracked workout calories (which are probably a low-side estimate anyway) on some treats, which I don't normally do. But they sure did taste good!
7/03 - 147.8 Oh boy, this loss was hard won! Yesterday had all the makings of a day to throw in the towel and just say I'll start back up later. I was hungrier than usual in the afternoon at work (and had to work later), I thought I had the right ingredients in the fridge for dinner but I didn't, and my child was being extra cranky while I was trying to get dinner in the oven. So I scrapped the fussy recipe I had planned and went easy with baked fish and veggies, and I let myself go a little over calories for a couple of cookies. And now I'm so glad I did, because I'm just a bit away from the lowest weight I saw last round!
7/04 - 147.4 **New Low!** And kind of surprising to see! Water was good, but no workout yesterday, and I didn't eat my planned lunch salad since I was able to get off of work early and do a birthday lunch for my mom. I actually made some good choices at lunch, but it was definitely heavier than I planned on! And then we ended up grabbing burgers and fries before some fireworks...I did make sure to bring a water bottle with so I could help to combat the sodium, and I didn't do any snacking when we got home.
7/05 - 148.0 Not bad after indulging for the 4th a little! I did a teeny tiny little workout before we left for the pool party (and now I'm setting a goal to figure out a good little half-hour, at-home/backyard circuit that I can do when I just want to get a quick sweat on and can't make it to the gym). The pool party was a mix of splurges and good choices. The good choices: I avoided the hot dogs, buns, potato salad, cupcakes, and beer. I brought my own water bottle to keep hydrated, I brought carrots to use a dipper in the hummus, and I played in the water a lot with my son. And even though nothing was a real meal, I felt bloated and full so I didn't force myself to eat dinner by the time we got home. The splurges: homemade frozen adult beverages, some key lime pie, and still went for plenty of tortilla chips with my salsa. I'm back at work today, and very excited that my mindset is naturally going to "Ok, back to normal with tracking" instead of "well, it's Friday, let's just wait to start up again Monday!"
Other thoughts - I didn't realize til last night/this morning that I had been feeling a little nervous about this week. Between my mom's birthday, the July 4th holiday, and being over 2 weeks into tracking every day (usually I don't end up tracking at least one day on the weekend, even if I'm still pretty good), I wasn't necessarily thinking I would screw up all of my progress, but I was worried about not having a plan. And now that it's over, even if I see a little bounce over the next few days, I'm ok! It wasn't anything to worry about, I survived and my healthier choices are becoming more and more ingrained the longer I'm on my journey.
7/06 - 147.6 Nice! No workout yesterday, but my water and food at work on Friday were very good! At night I was tempted to give in to some splurges for dinner, but by the time we got the kid to bed, I had lost that impulse. So I warmed up leftovers from earlier in the week and was a little over my calories because of some snacking, but still at a deficit. Sometimes I just need to give myself some space to think about by food choices. If I had really wanted to eat off plan, I could have, but taking some time to think about if it I really wanted it or if I was just stressed/bored/unfocused helped!
Saturday morning workout classes are still so fun and so tough. I wore my HRM and it said I burned 700 cals in one hour! Still taking that with a grain of salt and not going to eat them all back, but it’s nice to see some numerical data supporting my hard work.

7/05 - 148.0
7/06 - 147.6
7/07 - 147.8
7/08 - 148.6
7/09 - 148.8
7/10 - 149.6 Ok, I missed a few days of checking in here, since I wasn't at my desk for work but I'm back! And oh no, it's a few days of increases! So what's been going on? Well, today starts the TOM for me, so the lead up to that always comes with some irregularity and retention. And on Saturday and Sunday, we mostly ate just one big meal each day, and my body doesn't seem to like that as much, even when it's within calories (or I could also be worse at estimating calories when it's one big meal, especially when eating out!). I did do a great boxing workout on Monday night too (HRM said 600 cals), I prepped delicious healthy low cal lunches for all week, and my water has been good even though I was away from my desk at work. But despite all that, I'm still at my highest weight this round! It was somewhat expected with TOM, but still frustrating to see.
So at times like these, I turn to my data. This "high" weight was the low weight I was hoping to see for so long! In fact, 2 weeks ago in Round 81, this exact weight was the one that caused me to say I jumped up and down in excitement on that scale (even in just one round, having these comments has been so helpful to look back on!). Oh how quickly does a celebration weight turn into a frustration weight! But my average weight this round is still 1.3 lbs less than my average weight last round - and my July average so far is 3.5 lbs less than my average June weight! So, not feeling discouraged at all. This is the natural up and down of the process, and I'm still feeling good about my journey!
7/11 - 148.2 Okay, so a nice little loss from yesterday as some of this water retention/bloating is going down. Technically from the first day of this round, I'm only at a 0.2 lb loss...but a 1.4 lb loss from the final weight last round and now I'm staring at my numbers trying to figure out which is the best way to represent the round . Again, I prefer looking at those 10-day averages, which is also a 1.4 lb loss. But, either way you slice it, I feel like this was a good round (nothing above 150 and saw a new low!), even with the July 4th holiday and TOM.
I've brought my breakfast shake and prepared lunches to work every day, good with water, and I've been limiting my snacking. Last night I made sure to take a kickboxing workout at the gym even though I hadn't planned on it, since we have some bad weather headed our way which might mean flooding and closures for the next few days. While getting to the gym isn't really a priority in a state of emergency, I figured getting in a workout before all of that couldn't hurt!

07/03- 204.1 - This past week has been hell for me. I got my root canal done last week and everything went great, but I'm feeling insane pain on my bottom wisdom tooth that is impacted. I won't be able to see my dentist until the 15th and that's for a cleaning and buildup on my root canal tooth. I'm currently on antibiotics for my teeth and living off of ibuprofen, trying to only take 1 a day. On top of that I caught the flu from my parents and I'm cramping What made things worst is instead of feeling sick and not having an appetite I've had a HUGE appetite and keep snacking on chips. My weight went up so much these past few days and I'm happy it finally went down a notch. Trying to stay focused, but I'm in constant pain, work is driving my crazy, I barely see my boyfriend once a week if that and I have 0 social life these days. Just trying to hang in there
07/04- 203.8 - Yay for the mini loss! But I'm so bloated right now and even my loose tops that hide the tummy have been letting me down. I've been trying to deal with my tooth pain also and haven't taken any meds other than antibiotics these past couple days. Ate healthy today and snacked on some chips, but walked a lot at the lake. I also heard from my friend that had moved which was really surprising. Things still feel a little weird for me, but I was really happy to hear from her and think that put me in a better mood because I had been really bummed lately.
07/05- 203.5 - That walking yesterday definitely did help! I've also been leaving the house earlier than usual so I can go to the grocery store to get my lunch for the day instead of eating out. Pros of today: Got a salad and Atkins pizza for lunch along with deli meat and a pack of baby carrots and hummus for snacking. Cons: I also got a bottle of the Starbucks frap which is super high in carbs, but I didn't want to wait in line at Starbucks and waste more time this morning.
I'm just trying to balance things out and pay more attention to calories right now. Also getting water in (20oz already ) and plan to walk more today.
I'm excited it's the weekend, but it will also be a year since my aunt passed away from cancer. Family is trying to get me to go to the yearly memorial, but they will be holding it at an Armenian restaurant where we did my other uncles 40 day passing memorial. I honestly don't want to go, not to be disrespectful or anything, but her side of the family will be there and some of them are judgmental and love to talk and I really don't need it in my life right now. It's annoying when people watch everything you do and eat, etc.
07/06- No Weigh in
07/07- No weigh in
07/08- 205- I was honestly avoiding posting on here because I was so embarrassed that my weight went back up. I was so excited over my loss too, but think with the holiday weekend I got messed up. Plus being sick and hardly able to move didn't help.
07/09- 204.1- I'm trying today. Feeling a lot better after kicking the fly. Tooth pain has gone down a lot too and finished my antibiotics today. I made a poke salad bowl for dinner last night, but didn't have much. I want to try to get myself into the gym either today or tomorrow, especially now that I can swim again
07/10- 203- Woohoo! Was not expecting to go down, but so happy I finally did. Did pretty well with food yesterday. Salad and lean cosine(however that's spelled) sandwich for lunch then went to KBBQ for dinner. The meat had no fat and was cut so thin it was pretty horrible, so I didn't have as much. Then walked at the mall and Target to get some steps in. Hoping to get these positive vibes going today too.
07/11- 201.9- I am so shocked! Was not expecting to go down this much these past couple days. Especially since I didn't get any walking in yesterday. I originally put my challenge goal weight to 200, but yesterday I realized from 205 to 200 was kind of tough. So happy I reached the goal of 202!!11 -
@geauxtigerlily Count your weight loss this round from your end weight of last round. That is start weight = end weight (not first day of round weight). Otherwise you lose data from what happens in that day! And that makes it a good round for you, so win-win!!8

Hi everyone....in horrid pain again today, scales haven’t budged which is frustrating
* Two big decent meals a day (never been a breakfast girl, if I force myself I binge all day)
* Reduce carb intake
* Reduce portion size BIG RULE!
* Increase water increase
* Increase activity levels - I have fibromylgia and Chronic Fatigue so lack energy
* NO late night bingeing - I've made a greek yogurt/garlic dip ready for nights
* Visit the community boards to keep motivated

I lose focus on my goal I think7 -
@SherryRueter So close to goal weight a 1.7 lb loss in a week is BIG! You probably want to aim for .5 lb/week as you have < 5 pounds to lose.5

Away this weekend for 4 days for the last cheerleading competition of the season.
But aiming to finish in the 136's (Last round ended on an artificially high weight due to family event the night before).
Started my 1,000,000 step challenge on July 1st and only 5 weeks till my holiday so plenty to focus on!
Round Start Weight 140.4lb
07/02 - 136.9lb (-3.5lb) Well that's the weekend whoosh expected a day or so early but happy to take it. TOM started unexpectedly too today so maybe that was part of it as well.
Food planned and prepped for the day and gym for an hour tonight.
Logged 11,378 steps yesterday which isn't bad having been at work - 988,622 to go! At work but hoping to get a walk in at lunchtime to up my steps for the day.
07/03 - 136.7lb (-0.2lb) 16,735 steps. Lots of steps as trainer took us out on a run tonight! Did a total of 7.5km where we ran for 5 minutes then walked for 2 minutes! Quite proud of myself as I am not a runner at all - love walking and love being out on my bike but not running!
07/04 - 135.4lb (-1.3lb) 10,967 steps (960,920 to go) Happy with this although not sure how much of this is down to the fact I only had a small dinner yesterday evening. Had a day off work yesterday to watch my youngest in her swimming gala so think it may also be due to sweating off pounds in the swimming pool as it was unbelievably hot in there! Good food day planned today then heading off early tomorrow to Bournemouth for the UK Cheerleading Nationals finals weekend - these events are always a test to any form of healthy eating!
And a Happy 4th July to our American friends today
07/05 - 135.6lb (+0.2lb) Really pleased the drop has hung around despite my (homemade within calories) burger last night. Heading off for the weekend now with good intentions but so hard at these events plus it is my birthday on Sunday so will have a gin and tonic and probably an ice cream on the beach too. 10,817 steps
Have a great weekend
07/06 - AWAY Only 5,380 steps as too much travelling time!
07/07 - AWAY 14,986 Steps
07/08 - AWAY 11,111 steps
07/09 - 137.7lb (+2.1lb) Not an unexpected gain for a long cheerleading weekend away with my birthday in the middle of it all as well - overall pleased with my weigh in today. Youngest got a 2nd and also crowned National Junior 1 Champions and eldest got a 3rd and a 4th (losing out on top spot by less than 0.8% - such a close competition!). Also only manged 6,707 steps yesterday as too much car time travelling home. 88,081 steps to date though.
Back on track today and gym tonight for an hour plus water, water and more water !
Couple of days to try and finish this round weighing less than what I started it .....
07/10 - 136.4lb (-1.3lb) 12,426 steps. All good as weekend bloat going and feeling good and motivated. No gym tonight so will fit in a decent lunchtime walk at work. Food prepped and planned
07/11 - 136.4lb (STS) Happy to finish the round here as lost in the round overall and had a celebratory glass of fizz last night with the news of the safe arrival of our latest (6th) grandchild! They live 200 miles away so its another hotel and car weekend ahead so we can head up and meet the new man. Piccie to show him off here
See you all next round xxx
Ahhrr!! He's adorable, bless him ! Congratulations, grandchildren are such a blessing xxx2 -
Female, age 42, 5'6"
7/11 - 141.3. Had a small procedure done yesterday and I'm retaining fluid big time. I can see it in my face and hands. Not a good representation of normal life this 10 day stretch so I honestly can't call this round a success or failure. Ending with swelling due to medical reasons kind of negates everything else . Good news is that I have no travel, a normal work schedule, and no reasons to deviate from tracking or working out in the next 10 days (starting again this weekend when the swelling goes down...)
@amn0619 So glad to hear that everything is going well after your procedure.

07/01 …..194.6….. ENDING WEIGHT LAST ROUND
07/02 …..193.6 ….. Yesterday’s stats: 1071 Calories In / 2515 Calories Out. 39 Net Carbs. 11,008 Total Steps & 4.66 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Steps Hours. I did 44 minutes of vigorous cabin cleaning. I slept badly only getting 3 hours & 24 minutes of sleep. Good luck on round 82 Everyone! I appreciate you all.
07/03 …..193.6 ….. Yesterday’s stats: 1062 Calories In / 2450 Calories Out. 23 Net Carbs of mainly veggies. 10,185 Total Steps & 4.31 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Steps Hours. I slept 3 hours & 50 minutes and woke up very early but refreshed (so my weigh-in was an early one). I took an 18 minute walk & I vigorously cleaned a cabin for 37 minutes. I am still feeling very strong in my plan today & my hunger, so far this morning, is still at bay.
07/04 …..193.8 ….. Yesterday’s stats: 1086 Calories In / 2929 Calories Out. 22 Net Carbs. 15,178 Total Steps & 6.42 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 4 hours & 12 minutes. I took a 12 minute walk & I spent 204 minutes doing the cabin cleaning which also involves many steps. To all of us in the USA, have a safe & fun holiday & enjoy all your celebrations.
07/05 …..195.8 ….. Carb laden celebration for the holiday including some sweet indulgences. Best guess on Calories In 2475 / Calories Out 2378. Best guess on carbs 201 (ouch!). 10,167 Total Steps & 4.3 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 4 hours & 57 minutes. Back on track today. Feeling carb bloated but strong in my resolve. I hope to be drinking lots of water today.
07/06 …..195.2 ….. Yesterday’s stats: 1850 Calories In / 2644 Calories Out. Best guess is 120 Net Carbs. 13,036 Total Steps & 5.52 Total Miles. 9/13 Fitbit Step Hours as I worked on my quarterly sales tax package. I slept 3 hours & 12 minutes and ate very late. I also had an early weigh-in this morning. I had 95 minutes of rigorous cabin cleaning, 11 minutes on the elliptical & a 14 minute walk.
07/07 …..194.8 ….. Yesterday’s stats: 923 Calories In / 2962 Calories Out. 10 Net Carbs. 17,114 Total Steps & 7.24 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 5 hours & 14 minutes. I did yard work for 155 Continual Minutes. I took an 11 minute walk & I danced for 35 minutes. Sample song ”Dream On” by Aerosmith.. Today is Sunday. Lots of rigorous cabin cleaning today. I will also get in plenty of steps!
07/08 …..195.9 ….. Epic Fail on the diet yesterday. I worked so hard on the Sunday cabin cleaning & ended up in the grab & go food mindset. Well over 2000 in Calories & Over 150 Carbs at best count. On the plus side, I did get in lots of activity burning 2955 Calories (so some of this weight has got to be water). 16,071 Total Steps & 6.81 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 4 hours & 53 minutes. I rigorously cleaned cabins for 186 minutes & I did the elliptical for 38 total minutes.
07/09 …..195.7 ….. Travel Day. I’m going to try to be mindful. Great day yesterday. I was hoping for a bigger drop but any drop is progress so I’ll call it a success. Yesterday’s stats: 1194 Calories In / 2560 Calories Out. 23 Net Carbs. 14,281 Total Steps & 6.04 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 3 hours & 42 minutes and awoke early this morning in preparation for travel including packing friendly snacks to help avoid extra temptations. I did rigorous cabin cleaning for 74 minutes which I count as exercise since it is not in my usual routine (although I do more of it during this time of year – tourist season). Off I go. My #1 goal today is to NOT BRING ANY JUNK OR GOODIES HOME that I would consider treats. They are not available in my own home town and I need to keep it that way!
07/10 …..196.9 ….. After travel weigh-in. Ugg. It didn’t beat around the bush or wait a few days to rear its ugly head. Restaurant food twice yesterday, brunch & dinner. Never enough water when I travel, though it feels like I try. Felt the need to take AZO so I know my consumption was too low. On the positive side, I did get in my 10,000 plus steps and I burned over 2700 calories. On the negative side, since carbs make me hungry (even starving) the next day, I am already ready to eat a cow. However, I will keep today at a low cal/low carb day to off-set the damage. I’m going for a glass of water right now……
07/11 …..196.7 ….. I gained this round due to end of week travel & the holiday too. Disappointed because I rocked it last round with over a 3 lb loss. I have a doctor appointment next week (local) and I am ashamed to let her see what has happened since Christmas. She will be upset because my glucose has been affected with the weight gain, but is still tremendously better than when I stared this journey. I am already bracing for the lecture that I will have to go back on some of the meds I was originally on if I don’t put a stop to the gain. She’s right. You guys know me though – I won’t give up and I won’t give in. Yesterday’s stats: 1943 Calories In / 2548 Calories Out. 109 Net Carbs (just keepin’ it honest). 13,103 Total Steps & 5.54 Total Miles. 12/13 Fitbit Steps Hours & I slept 6 hours & 13 minutes which was incredible! I actually overslept! I spent 82 minutes on yard work burning an extra 426 calories I don’t get everyday. I took a 23 minute moderately paced walk. Great job everyone. I am humbled & impressed. Such great accomplishments this round!

07/02 - 134.3 (-0.3lbs) - Sore today from all the core work yesterday. Food on point. 1hr strength. 35 min cardio. 17 cups water. 12,749 steps.
07/03 - 133.7 (-0.6lbs) - Food was mostly good. I had a handful of vegan cheezits, not the healthiest but was still under calories and the rest of the day was clean. 45min strength. 103min cardio. 16 cups water. 11,441 steps.
07/04 - 134.4 (+0.7lbs) - Bloated! Food was good besides those damn vegan cheezits. 1hr 40min cardio. 149 oz water. 15,597 steps.
07/05 - 135.8 (+1.4lbs) - Water retention. Bloated. Slightly sore. Vegan cheezits again 🤦🏻♀️ I needed to fill calories quick. 30min strength. 1hr 15min cardio. 168oz water, extra because I spent 30min in the sauna, had to replenish.
07/06 - 135.3 (-0.5lbs) - super sore from yesterday’s strength training. Water retention I’m sure. 55m strength, 1hr 10min cardio. 12,583 steps. 152oz water, sauna again.
07/07 - 136.2 (+0.9lbs) - less sore but has to be water retention from the strength training. 30min restorative yoga. 1hr 20min cardio. 16,577 steps. 152oz water, sauna.
07/08 - 135.7 (-0.5lbs) - weighed a lot earlier than normal but my schedule is changing so it had to happen. Besides that still retaining water. 45min strength. 35min cardio. 14,732 steps. 128oz water.
07/09 - 135.3 (-0.4lbs) - a lot more intense strength training lately. It’s probably time for a rest day to recover. Weight doesn’t bother me much as my body is looking great! I did eat pizza yesterday for a birthday but just 2 pieces. Not worried about it. 1hr strength. 1hr 10min cardio. 16,643 steps. 144oz water.
07/10 - 136.2 (+0.9lbs) - water retention and bloat. Lots of lifting. 30min strength. 45min cardio. 17,051 steps. 128oz water.
07/11 - 136.2 (0lbs) - water retention/bloat/DOMS. Finally today will be a rest day. 45min strength. 45min cardio. 17,120 steps. 152oz water.8 -

The gain would be my dinner and beer from last night.
Today I was reluctant to get up and do my exercises, but knowing I will post in a fresh round made me do it However, then I skipped boxing after work in favour for an eve on the sofa with DH (but without LNS✔️)
Now I have terrible ovulation pain, my whole side is on fire - time for bed.

No exercise in the morning, something is happening with my body. Hopefuly it's just cycle related and gone by tomorrow, along with a bit of weight.
Another busy day at work, didn't eat my breakfast. Also found out i'm going on a work trip on Sun eve, which will mess with my logging and workouts.

12hrs fast. 11.00-20.00- 9hrs eat
Yay, I got up for my run today!
I did need the calories as we had a "wine down" at work and then dinner with a colleague and our partners, followed by ice cream.
Dinner was a complete estimate at 1000cals plus a generously estimated amount of wine but all that was within my limit for the day. Now I'm very full and bloated and know will have a hard time getting up tomorrow morning. But I'll try.

Didn't eat the cereal bar, but a mini croissant at the meeting. During the day all was fine, dinner was delicious steak with butter sauce and dessert and then some swiss chocolate, so definitely went over. That's the problem, there is always something that I must try...
Day was alright but then i had some dinner and snacks at home.
Wed 7/10 72.8kg (+0.4) 🚶♀️5k oops🍷📖
12hrs fast. 10-23 13hrs eat
Not surprised, today I'm too tired to exercise.
Worked after I got home and then packed and cleaned and had a silly snack very late, hence the long eating window. Without that it would have been 10hours. Ah well, tomorrow is going to be interesting, working from home until we leave for London. We're driving, so it will be a long trip and late arrival and probably poor food choices.
I plan to run in the morning, but I'm in bed late and not sure I'll have the energy.
Thu 7/11 72.3kg (-0.5) 🚶♀️5k

Day spent sitting at home and then in the car with snacks and poor choices. Onto the next round.
