Help

Hello,
Has anyone noticed the amount of protein they need drop drastically? I needed over 100 grams yesterday, but now today says I only need 84.
Any ideas?

Did your calorie allowance drop between yesterday and today? Did you log exercise yesterday but not today?

It did drop a little, but nothing like the protein. It also looks like carbs went way up as well. I haven’t changed anything😔

Do you have a fitbit (or other) synced?

As you add exercise or a calorie adjustment from a tracker your calories increase.

If you're on the default macros that's 50C/20P/30F if your base is 84g (336 calories) guessing you're on 1680 cals per day?

Protein is 4 cals per gram
Carbs are 4 cals per gram
Fat is 9 cals per gram

If your exercise or calorie adjustment was around 320 calories yesterday then your macros have to increase in turn and at the default ratios, that would happen as follows:

    84g (336 cals) - 100g Carbs (400 cals)
    210g (840 cals) - 250g (1000 cals)
    56g (504 cals) - 66.7g (600 cals)

I have my Apple Watch synced

Then your daily calories and macros are going to adjust automatically based on the amount of activity your watch records and syncs to MFP. That's what's happening.

And today isn't over. You may have a higher calorie and macro goal by the end of the day, due to the syncing.
