Can I still use to monitor my food intake being pregnant since we are supposed to be eating less to lose weight

You can absolutely monitor your food intake, but you shouldn’t be trying to lose weight now. Check with your ob/gyn. You are growing a human, losing weight isn’t recommended during pregnancy.

If the "we are supposed to be eating less to lose weight" is what you think MFP is for, that's not the case. You can use it to maintain. You can use it to gain. You just need to go into your settings and change your goal. (Maybe ask you OB-GYN how much weight you should be aiming to gain in each trimester, and break that down into a weekly goal.)7
