So confused. I adjusted my settings to allow negative calories. Now it says I have -285 calories left. My goal is 1640. I ate 1465 plus my fit bit addded 440 calories burned. Am I in a deficiet with calories or over? So stupid.

The negative calorie allows your calorie goal to be adjusted downward if you don't burn as many calories as MFP projected based on the activity level you set. It sounds like you overestimated your activity level -- or are hooky only wearing you're Fit Bit for intentional exercise? I think you have to wear it all the time if you have negative calories enabled if you want it to work right.1
