    Oh FFS. Once again you’ve titled this discussion ‘release notes’ without providing any release notes.

    WHERE ARE THE RELEASE NOTES. WHICH BUGS HAVE YOU FIXED. WHAT PERFORMANCE HAVE YOU IMPROVED.

    I assume the fixed issues are somewhere in https://myfitnesspal.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/sections/360006006772-TROUBLESHOOTING - but this still isn’t release notes.

    I find it really unimpressive when an organisation claims to provide something and doesn’t.

    That is not release notes. Trust me on this. I am a technical writer and have spent much of the last twenty years producing release notes.

    Thank you for your feedback. For now, this the current way to see known issues and fixes in our program. We will look to improve our release notes for a future update.

    Please use this thread to provide feedback regarding any issues you might see with the latest releases for the program.

    If you go to the Exercise tab - and tap/hold on what is likely an Apple Adjustment there for more details - what does that screen shot show? Include the phone time too.
    How much deficit do you have setup in MFP profile, how much weekly weight loss desired?

    Even though this topic is about the MFP app running on iOS, and not the syncing ability - I'm sure the math is just right for what MFP gets.

    Ah. Appears to be related to the OS! The "Steps calorie adjustment" appears to be correct now. I assume you're just applying whatever data Apple is giving you. Here is the full screenshot from today, and same screenshot an hour later.

    Well, the other problem you are running in to besides a newer app version running on iOS.

    Did you actually set up a link between MFP and Apple Health account?

    Or you didn't do that, merely using Apple device as step source and manually entering workouts?

    Apple doesn't send correct info to MFP to do math with anyway when you link accounts. That has nothing to do with the app - purely what Apple sends to MFP.

    So while the above figures are correcting now - they are still incorrect math in general for what is supposed to happen.

    You seem to have an ad in your your group of ads that throws a popup AD BOMB of several ads that can't be X'd without being replaced by another, infinitely.

    Only because you never know what someone means by "tried everything" - did you go into MFP app settings for Step Source and select Apple?

    It appears since the latest update, the app has started to register either more carbs or less protein for the same foods I've been eating the whole time I've used MFP. With no change in diet or major shift in food intake, I'm suddenly having trouble hitting my daily protein goal, when before I was exceeding it.

    Sure you are picking the exact same database items for your food logging?

    Doesn't sound like you are investigating much for exact details.

    MFP doesn't troubleshoot from these posts, so if you are curious about other user experiences - need more details.

    Find a past food item logged prior to update - note the macro amounts.

    Find the EXACT same food item in your current list.

    How do they compare?
    What is that food item.
