    Go ahead and grab that flat screen tv from the curb that somebody is dumb enough to throw away. There’s a 99% chance it still works great and they were just wanting a fresh new one.

    If she/he uses frequently a word or expression, recite slowly 4-8 synonyms for it, while ticking them off on your fingers.
    Bonus points for doing it in bad traffic , or in the middle of an argument.
