If Dr. Oz advocates it, you can bet it's a waste of money.

I guess so. It's a popular weight loss supplement. Many have positive reviews about it. According to many health experts, it can reduce appetite and help you lose weight, pretty much without effort. Even Dr. Oz has been touting the benefits of it. He is an American TV doctor and probably the most famous health “guru” in the world.

We know who he is but that does nothing to increase his credibility.

Raspberry Ketones Extreme Dr. Recommended 500mg is a top rated brand. I have used other brands of Rasberry Ketones before and i was disappointed. I did not survey the labels to determine quality and ingredients. Rasberry Ketones Extreme is made from natural raspberry ketones without all the fillings you may find in other brands and the daily dosage is correct. I just never got the same results from other brands as I get from Raspberry Ketones Extreme Dr. Recommended 500mg.
I take one pill before lunch and one before dinner and it has helped me to eat significantly less. I just don't feel hungry or feel the need to eat a huge meal to fill me up. Drinking plenty of water definitely helped flush out all the toxins and after using these for a week I feel great!

For the OP, I got nothing that hasn't already been said.
The stuff you're asking about probably won't hurt you (probably), but won't help either.
Unless you're ready to take speed, forget about magic pills. Proper diet and exercise.
I guess you're kinda right there... phentermine is related to 'speed'.
For some people, eat more move less doesn't work. They need a kick-start, some help controlling their appetite.
The first few days I was on it, I was astonished that I was not hungry.
After that, I got a little hungry at dinner time.
Contrasted to what I used to suffer, being hungry all the time, it was a miracle.
Now that my hunger has been reset to what I hope is a normal level, I don't take it but maybe a couple days a week, and expect that to go away soon.
It's still not magic, I still have to exercise & be sure I eat under my calorie goal, but it's a LOT easier now that I'm not constantly hungry.
And no, I haven't had any of the side effects people seem to worry about (sleeplessness, jitters, etc.). My blood pressure was a _little_ high, but my doctor wasn't worried.

I actually came into this post thinking it was another late night spam thread. Like another poster said, save your money. It's a gimmick

Sorry but studies show that Garcinia Cambogia does not work on humans!

    http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11134690
    http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18729243

On the plus side, if you are an over weight lab rat it will work a treat!

    http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15680676
    http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15200237

Taken in normal quantities though the product has been shown to be safe, albeit useless!

Think about it for a second. If there where ACTUALLY a little pill that made it easy to lose weight don't you think it would be all over the news? And not just health magazines the mainstream news. Diet pills can be broken down into two categories.

    1. Doesn't work - Pure Snake Oil

    2. Works a little - Disastrously unhealthy side effects. High probability of weight gain when you come off the pills.

I took Ketone on a regular basis last year. It gave me lots of energy and motivation to workout. However the effect gradually decreased over the weeks. I was pale and constantly exhausted and my pulse was weak. I think I read something about the adrenal gland being over-stimulated when you take ketone. Nowadays I sometimes take 1-2 pills before a workout, like once a week. Don't intend to buy more once the bottle is finished.

Necro thread by a first time poster.

Raspberry ketones do nothing. Dozens of threads have been wasted on this junk. Save your cash.

I tried Rasperry Ketones in the past - after losing 30lbs thinking I needed a boost...nope. All I got was indigestion. Nothing like burping up raspberry all morning.

Eat less, move more and wait. That's the secret to weight loss.

Before purchasing these the most important thing to do is look at the label. If the ingredients has anything other than raspberry Keytones, or green coffee bean extract do not buy it as it will not work. It has to be 100% pure.

I know this is a necro bump and I shouldn't rise to the bait, but:

Aren't pure ketones liquid at standard temperature and pressure? If they are 100% pure, wouldn't you have to be taking a liquid, not pills?

I think I left my sensible hat at home one day and bought some raspberry ketones in a sale. Probably the penny sale at Holland & Barrett.
I literally don't remember what they did, so let's assume nothing.
They went in the bin, where they belong.
