I'm almost back in my normal routine.
Normally I work from home on Tuesdays and Thursday is my day off - so I'm at the office on Mon-Wed-Friday. Now, our office stays closed on Fridays so one extra day working from home is the only difference. Just like Jacau I'm glad I'm (almost) back in my normal routine. Add to that that I'm diving again and for me, life is almost completely back to normal. Also our infection and hospitalization numbers are going way down.
All that sometimes makes me forget that there is still that monster out there of which I should be fearful.

To continue with the horse pics.
Every now and then, the meadow behind our house is leased by a horse owner to let a new mother and her foal graze. This is the case right now.
Megacute, but one of my cats is not amused

@Antiopelle - there's just nothing cuter than babies! Looks like a great place for them to run around.

Well, I was always the "lucky" one that could eat anything and not gain weight. That was until my nerve damage got so painful that the docs had me on sodium blockers that messed up my electrolytes and I went from my 145 lbs normal weight to 201lbs and the fat all went to my belly and I looked pregnant at age 59. It happened in just a few months. I stopped the dangerous meds cold which sent me to the ER, but within 3 days I was back to an intensive workout. I got down to 170 lbs in 3 months, but getting to 155 lbs took a couple of years. At age 67 I noticed my weight dropped to 135 lbs and they discovered cancer. After cancer surgery, I was down to 126 lbs and felt like a skeleton but was pumped because they got it all. Now nearing 70 I am at 140 lbs and feeling great. I will put some photos on my profile that show going from 170 to 135. I am 5' 9" and so happy to find this message board of women that make an effort to stay fit and healthy.

More horse porn. :) I grew up in Baltimore and believe it or not I never got to see the Chincoteague ponies. Not sure why as I have been horse crazy since I was 4. We have really nice skies yesterday and my horse decided to pose.

I completely understand, I also get to max 3.000 steps a day when working. Working from home without breaks= 800 steps. It is detrimental to our physical health !

I'm in your boat - wknds - I go a million miles. I do so much better when I work from home. Even getting up early and spending an hour working horses before work and at least 2 hours at the barn after work - it's just not the same.

Thought I'd go for a relaxing ride on the river last night.... thought it would be the perfect way to wrap up a Sunday. I'm usually super strict about long sleeves, big hats, sunscreen..... headed out at 5:45 and thought it was late enough I'd be safe. Came home at 7:30 with a DAMN SUNBURN! I give up - the sun hates me.

It's weird. The days are getting shorter but it feels like there is more direct light in the afternoon/evening and it's darker in the mornings already. Hope your sunburn isn't too bad. How was the river?

@cayenne_007, SUNBURN! Yikes- Yep, you can burn even if it's cloudy. Keep that SPF handy!

@Antiopelle, Office jobs sucks! But the AC is nice and getting paid... shouldn't complain. right?

Just reminding myself to be grateful. Little things in life... ❤

I need to find a way to get on the bike with kids in the bike trailer before it hits 100F outside and without the mosquitoes eating us alive. I'm thinking I need to start getting into a routine of riding at like 9:30-10am everyday.

It doesn't work at the office... Need other ideas.
