Linking Fitbit to MFP

I have followed the connecting steps successfully, and it is still not connected. So I went back in and did below steps.

Every time go under apps, select Fitbit tracker, Select 'connect' and try and connect Fitbit to MFP , I get option to select what all data I want it to be synced, Have selected Allow all - it gives me error "Another MyFitnessPal account has already been linked to this Fitbit account. Only one account may be linked at once."

And everytime I go back under Apps to select Fitbit and try connecting again, It still gives me option to connect and do not give me option to disconnect. seems like it is stuck in some kind of loop. Please help

    You can't correct that kind of error by doing anything.

    It's not your account connected - it's another - like it says.

    Did you have a different MFP account in the past and use this Fitbit account (not device though it may be the first one) prior?
