Recovering from injury tips

Annnnnd I’m back on rest. I’ve spent time building up my ankle and doing everything properly but the previous over-reliance on the non-injured leg has tightened up my adductors, TFL and ITB. Not to mention I couldn’t see any physios or masseurs during lockdown. The pain in the knee on my good leg has made my coach put me on rest and stretching 😭

Oh no!!!!! I am so sorry that you are having pain. But as you said you have a really smart and great coach so when he says rest, I know you listen. I am certainly missing masseuse also right now!1
