Beautiful day here. I am doing my fall cleaning. We had just moved in to this house in November so I didn't feel the need to do a deep cleaning in the spring. Feels great to be working on it now though. I am having new furniture delivered this afternoon- very excited. I hope I like it as much in my house as I did i the store LOL. I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

So, how does your new furniture look? Do we get to see pictures? ❤️

Hello everyone. My name is Lee, I'm 61 and have 2 sons and a wonderful husband. I have struggled with my weight most of my life and started on here about 7 weeks ago. I have MS so am not able to exercise which makes losing weight a little tricky! I have lost 7.4kgs (approx 16 lbs) and still have a way to go. One thing I have difficulty with, is finding tasty recipes that are healthy with reasonable macros. Looking forward to perusing all posts, I have just found these posts now.....but will regularly check in. :)

    Welcome Lee!

Congratulations on your 16 pound weight loss so far! I find tons of recipes on Pinterest, and I hear that www.hungry-girl.com
Is a good place to go.

    Glad you’re here!

Hi. What a lovely idea. The more positivity you can have in your life the better.

I’m Terri. I live in Northern Ireland with my DH of 54 years. We have 2 daughters and 3 adult grands. I’m 74 years young, and a retired maths teacher. Last year I did a Boditrax course at my local gym, and I my analysis showed that all my stats were normal for my age etc, and my body age was 62.

2015 was a pivotal year for me. I needed to lose weight because I needed a hip replacement. I joined MFP, lost 42 lbs, had my hip op, saw my DYD married, and haven’t looked back since.
    Stats:
    HW: 227 March 2014
    MFP SW: 216 Jan 2015
GW: 165 mid 2016 (mostly maintained)
    2019 GW: 150 November 2019
    Current focus:
    • maintain < 155 ✅
    • Pre-log CI/CO and balance macros ✅
    • Hydration ✅
    • Increase stamina, strength and Flexibility ✅

    September Goals Update:
🔆 Have maintained around 150. Currently at 148
🔆 Have stayed within my calorie goal except for 1 day which was DH's birthday
🔆 Continued to keep my hydration above MD's recommendations
🔆 Managed to reduce Fat % and increase Muscle % by working on muscle development workouts

Progress is the goal... not perfection. Life is messy. There are many ups and downs in weight loss and life in general. We have to remember to be kind and forgiving to ourselves and others.

    Today I am grateful for:
    • My very significant other. He plumbed in our new dishwasher and it’s working perfectly.
    • Another day to work on being the best me possible.
    • The opportunities that I have to do whatever I choose to do.

PA: Yesterday I choose to go for a coastal walk with DH, DYD and her dogs. Belfast Lough was very still and calm.
