I would greatly welcome the ability to track food groups using standardized portion sizes to be able to monitor my efforts to eat more sustainably (e.g. the planetary diet). Myfitnesspall already has endless database of products, why not allow users to classify them to food groups and set their desired portion size. It would be amazing to see for example my food pyramid for past week or day or month.
I am sure this suggestion has been made previously, now I see myfitnesspall has also a Go-green plan that users can follow. How nice it would be if we could track our progress in minimizing certain food groups etc.
