    I am Dawn, 60, 5'2"
    MFP Start weight October 28.18 191 pounds
    UGW - 112-118


    10/1 -
    10/2 - 143.5
    10/3 - 143.5
    10/4 - 143.5 - I normally fluctuate like crazy, so this staying at the same weight for 3 days is new to me.
    10/5 - 143.1 - Good to see a slight drop. I was 141.0 in September, so trying to get back to that...and beyond.
    10/6 - 142.1 - Getting back down to September's weight, working on it!
    10/7 - 141.5 - I don't really want to count this first week as a weight loss, since I am still up (slightly) from September. Gaining weight and then losing that same weight is not weight loss to me. Onward : - )
    10/8 - 139.6 - New low for me, yay!
    10/9 - 141.3 - I am fine with this number. I hope to touch the 130s again this month : - )
    10/10 - 142.3 - I had hoped for a lower number as I go into 3 days of a feeding frenzy of Canadian Thanksgiving. I am particularly fond of gravy and stuffing. I will still be working out.
    10/11 - 142.6 - No big gain yet from seasonal foods
    10/12 - 143.0 - One more thanksgiving meal tonight

    10/15 - 143.6 - Time to get serious and bring this number down.
    10/16 - 142.1 - I actually went back to bed this morning and weighed 141.2 when I woke up, but I will stay with the former number because it was at a time when I normally get up.
    10/17 - 143.6 - Bad food choices yesterday

    10/20 - 142.9 - I really want to be 141 on my MFP anniversary

    10/23 - 141.2 - Okay, 5 days to lose 0.2 pounds and return to my September weight. Easier said than done sometimes.
    10/24 - 140.6 - That is more like it!
    10/25 - 141.2 - Okay.
    10/26 - 141.2 - Wanting (and will try) to shed that .2 before Wednesday.
    10/27 - 140.6 - This is after going back to bed, so I'll see a real number tomorrow.
    10/28 - 139.6 - My 2 year anniversary of joining MFP at 191 pounds
    10/29 - 140.2 - wrong way to celebrate my 2 years of weight loss lol, rewarded myself with naughty food.

    I just did the math, and I lost 9 lbs. in October. Yes, it is a good feeling; however, September was slow. I started September at 194. Gained 0.4 my first week. Stayed the same for the week after. Then the September total was 2.4 lbs. lost. I tracked everything, stayed w/i my calorie goals. I just kept looking forward. So, my point here, is please don't give up!

    week 4: (10/29/20):152.6 (partial goal: 154 pounds)

    I entered the slowing trend - it's harder and harder to keep losing. :/

    I lost 10 pounds in October but I am afraid November will not end with such an amazing result. I know it's early, but my kid's birthday is coming, followed by Thanksgiving.

    We used to gather with friends (20-30 people) at Thanksgiving and then on Christmas Eve but I don't think we will this year, which should make it easier for me from the point of view of this challenge. My kids are not very much into "holiday" food unless it's chocolate, candy, soda and a very limited selection of homemade cakes. And I really don't mind! o:)

    On the brighter side: we started "Biggest Loser" at work yesterday which should give me a motivation boost.
    It lasts through January 27, 2021. I would LOVE to get to 130 pounds (my goal for this challenge is 136). :*

    Had to take some "mental health days" at the coast Tues-Wed so that I wouldn't be quite so glued to the drama on TV. We had a kitchen and brought our own food. Even though I went slightly off my diet, I was able to get in some long peaceful walks to work off the extra calories. Nothing like the ocean air to lift your spirits and clear your mind. No change this week, but that's ok. Back on the horse!
