    I am in. I just started my weight loss journey. I have 35lbs to loose. I would love to start walking but I Sprained my ankle pretty bad.

    A little late, but I need the motivation and accountability. Lost 60, but gained back 30 during this covid crisis. Blew my knee out recently, need to get down to 250 for knee replacement surgery. Will have to lose weight mainly on diet since exercising will be very limited to upper body workout.

    Well d'uh, I cut and paste my posts and see that I was using this from a monthly challenge. I will fix it.

    Week 1
    10/1 -
    10/2 - 143.5
    10/3 - 143.5
    10/4 - 143.5 - I normally fluctuate like crazy, so this staying at the same weight for 3 days is new to me.
    10/5 - 143.1 - Good to see a slight drop. I was 141.0 in September, so trying to get back to that...and beyond.
    10/6 - 142.1 - Getting back down to September's weight, working on it!
    10/7 - 141.5 - I don't really want to count this first week as a weight loss, since I am still up (slightly) from September. Gaining weight and then losing that same weight is not weight loss to me. Onward : - )
    10/8 - 139.6 - New low for me, yay!
    10/9 - 141.3 - I am fine with this number. I hope to touch the 130s again this month : - )
    10/10 - 142.3 - I had hoped for a lower number as I go into 3 days of a feeding frenzy of Canadian Thanksgiving. I am particularly fond of gravy and stuffing. I will still be working out.
    10/11 - 142.6 - No big gain yet from seasonal foods
    10/12 - 143.0 - One more thanksgiving meal tonight

    10/16 - 142.1 - I actually went back to bed this morning and weighed 141.2 when I woke up, but I will stay with the former number because it was at a time when I normally get up.

    Hi, I just joined MFP in the hopes of more accountability, so I hope it's ok I jump into this challenge late. I've been losing weight on my own for a while, but it goes down super slowly for me (no matter my consumed/burned calories) so I get frustrated easily. Here's my backdated stats:

    HW: 360
    Challenge SW: 302.4 -- this is from Sept 28 because Monday is my weigh-in day
    EOY Goal: 280 -- Honestly, I want however low it will go, but realistically let's say this

    10/05: 299.8
    10/12: 298.4

    Hi! I am a little late but I'm in! I started back with MFP 6 wks ago when I found out I'm pre-diabetic and am having hypersensitivity due to inflammation. I was weighing in on Mondays but switched to Sundays starting today.

    Totally late to the game, but hopefully you'll let me join!:)

    Starting weight on October 1st: 223
    End of December goal weight 211 (which would mark my first goal weight - and would be a 61-pound weight loss)

    October 10 - 222
    October 17 - 218.8
    October 28 - 216

    I've been averaging 5 pounds a month regularity and am currently down 7 pounds so far in October, so on track so far. I don't want to get tripped up (but still enjoy) the holidays!

    I am 40 years old and have been taking a long look at my life. I have realized that I felt tired and was being limited in activities I could do because of my weight. I LOVE traveling with my kiddo and those seats were feeling pretty squishy. And I really enjoy going to the amusement park and had to start checking to make sure it could handle my weight.

    My Inspirations
    Live to be 80 years old in a healthy body.
    Give my daughter an example of healthy living.
    Going on any ride I want to at the amusement park.
    Enjoy getting my photo taken by other people again.
