    Hi I'd like to join this group. My goals are to get healthy for myself and my family. I have only been on here 5 weeks and lost 5.1kg I'm just doing 5kg at a time as if I look at what I want to loose over all, it's to daunting. We can do this together.

    I've just started logging these past two days with the intention of losing two kilos by Christmas! 10 years ago I was 104 kilos and now I'm 72 kilos...what has always helped me is consistently calorie counting and remembering to include sufficient amounts of protein in my diet along with fibre, vegetables and low fat dairy. Three years ago I was 77.7 kilos and I lost almost 10 kilos with myfitnesspal, so I'm back here again. OP: thank you for starting this thread. Anyone who is reading this post and this thread: whether you think you can, or you think you can't...you're right. Believe it and you can achieve it. And do feel free to add me, its so nice to have this lovely online community and support each other :smile:

    So I'm going to keep it simple. I'll aim for losing 10 pounds and 2.5 inches around the waistline.
    For transparency, as of this AM I weigh 211.4 pounds and measure 47.5 inches around my big fat belly.
    Think I’m picking the worst time of the year to try and lose weight, but hey, I do like a challenge.

    I've been a bad boy Abbott!

    Not really eating right or exercising enough but I was down this AM to 210.8 but my scale has been known to lie. The tape measure on the other hand can't lie as easily, I am down to 46.5 on the waistline, so a victory there eh!
    So 9.6 pounds to go and 1.5 inches to lose.

    Ok, I'm new to this challenge. My goal is to be 160 lbs by January 1st. I weigh 180.2 lbs currently. I haven't measured my waist line. My official weigh in days are Fridays and the 1st of every month. I'll post today as:
    180.2 lbs and update again on Friday.

    10/28: 250.6 - I seem to have trouble getting under 250 :/ Also I forgot to mention a few things about me. I am 30yrs old and 6'1 and at my lowest after high school I weighted around 150, which was a little under my current goal which is 160. I think I felt my best at 160-170 but took my 100 lb weight loss for granted. My senior yr of high school I was about 250-260. I am going to keep doing my best to reach my goal.     Totally late to the game, but hopefully you'll let me join! :)

    Starting weight on October 1st: 223
    End of December goal weight 211 (which would mark my first goal weight - and would be a 61-pound weight loss)

    October 10 - 222
    October 17 - 218.8
    October 28 - 216

    I've been averaging 5 pounds a month regularity and am currently down 7 pounds so far in October, so on track so far. I don't want to get tripped up (but still enjoy) the holidays!

    I am 40 years old and have been taking a long look at my life. I have realized that I felt tired and was being limited in activities I could do because of my weight. I LOVE traveling with my kiddo and those seats were feeling pretty squishy. And I really enjoy going to the amusement park and had to start checking to make sure it could handle my weight.

    My Inspirations
    Live to be 80 years old in a healthy body.
    Give my daughter an example of healthy living.
    Going on any ride I want to at the amusement park.
    Enjoy getting my photo taken by other people again.

    If it's not too late....
    I'm Becs, I'm 37 and UK based. Have been losing and gaining my whole life. I did really well with CC and 5:2 back in 2016 and then I lost my way.

    I am currently 256.5lbs and I'd like to be down to 230 by the New Year.
    I work shifts at the hospital, long days and nights so can be difficult if I dont prep.

    I'm trying to get 100% back to it and would love any support I can get.
    My motivation is to be fitter and healthier for my babies!

    Hi I've just rejoined again. The app helps me track what I eat and motivates me to exercise. I plan on sticking with it this time. Never really lost anything before. It was telling me I wasn't eating enough, but I wasn't hungry. I eat pretty clean and mostly active, but then I do enjoy coffee and biscotti in the mornings! My goal is to stick with black coffee only when I really need it, and no biscotti! CW 218, I am hoping to lose 40 pounds, before the end of the year. I would like to feel and look good at my daughter's wedding. It was moved from last June to February 2021. I cook mostly clean homemade meals so this is easy, but I think I will try one meal a day and exercise daily. Looking into Keto diet. Looks easy enough but like everything has it's issues. IF this works for me this will be the first time I've actually lost weight! Hope I'm going the right path. Thanks for creating this group!

    This would be great to get involved with. Read many of the comments above and I am so pleased I am not alone. Cant remember how many times I have resurrected this app and paid for premium. I just cant say NO. My husband has never had weight problems and I have all my life. So when we have dinner and I am quite contented, out comes the chocolate bar, the cheese and biscuits. And yes in go I, head first.
