Ya seen Rolling Acres Mall in the past decade or so?
It's true. Much of Ohio is like that depressed trailerpark that used to be nice and well-kept, but now it's just a place to buy weird looking meth and probably not a good idea to get out of the car.
I have a friend from Chillicothe & he tells me going out to a neighborhood bar there is a harrowing experience.
Really? Chillicothe? He said: 'Yeah, Meth.'
That's really sad.3 -

I have 3 casinos within 1/2 mile from my home, yet my neighborhood is very quiet and safe.
One of them I've never been inside and the other two I only go to for the restaurants.1 -

You can buy booze 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and there are slot machines in the grocery stores.2 -
texas is big so we have a lot of awesome and varied state parks compared to other places i think

We have a lot of military where I'm from and related historical sites. The plantations are popular even though I've never been to one personally. Ghost tours and carriage rides are also popular and I've also not experienced.
You're close to lakes and the ocean. In my neck of the woods there are no skyscrapers.
In my home town you could walk two or three miles from my mom's place and make it anywhere you needed to be. It's a convenience town that keeps growing fast. Nothing fancy though, fancy nights out were at Applebee's or you had to drive to the next town for olive garden. 😁3 -

Give me a minute, I’ll think of something...........cowboys, oilwells, The Thunder, OU Football, cost of living is comparatively low, you can buy a lot of house for not so much.
Great place to raise kids.
It’s hard to get lost in Oklahoma.
You can see for miles, all the streets run N-S, E-W, numbered.4 -

My patio overlooks a man made river and I get to see all manner of people walking along the path every day.
Just last week there was the guy in nothing but a speedo and a towel on this head.
There's two different guys who like to listen to the radio while walking - one in French and one in an Indian language.
There is the guy who plays Frisbee with his little dog while blasting Phil Collins on the boom box.
There's a guy on his bike who every night rides by playing the same oldie, "black is black - I want my baby back."
There is the guy who sits on the slope and plays a soft Japanese flute at 11 o'clock at night.
It's pretty cool, except when I want to come out and sit in the dark with no pants.6
