I'm 37 years old, married, we have a 2 year old. My goal for this challenge is to lose 15-20 lbs. 2020 starting weight was 225. My ultimate goal weight is 135-140 I'll plan for Saturday weigh ins.

Good luck to everyone on reaching your goals.

    Dec 5th 183.0
    Dec 12th 182.2
    Dec 19th 181.2
    Dec 26th 181.4

    Jan 2nd 180.8
    Jan 9th 180.0
    Jan 16th 179.6
Jan 22nd 178.8 (This past week I decided to switch from weighing myself daily to weekly. So, going to change to a Friday weigh in. Just trying something different.)
    Jan 29th 178.0

Feb 5th 177.0 (I know I don't share, but I do enjoy following how everyone is doing.)
    Feb 12th 175.8

Not great. There were ups and downs in my weight and life the last few weeks. If I'm 150-155 by the end of March, I'll be satisfied with that.
I am loving all the snack ideas, especially what to do with eggs. Love them!

That's awesome! You are doing great! I'm really trying to focus on inches and not numbers...it's so hard though and I don't want to set a goal date because I know I will be crushed if I don't make it! It appears for me that this weight loss journey is going to be slow and I have to be okay with it! So celebrate your loss...you're doing amazing!

THIS CHALLENGE: lose 30 pounds by end of March (starting in December)
    Jul 10 : 330.0 (highest weight)
    Nov 30 : 287.9 (starting weight)
    Dec 04 : 283.5 : weekly loss = 4.4, total loss = 4.4
    Dec 11 : 284.6 : weekly loss = -1.1, total loss = 3.3
    Dec 18 : 283.8 : weekly loss = 0.8, total loss = 4.1
    Dec 25 : 286.0 : December net loss = 1.9, total loss = 1.9
    Jan 01 : 281.6 : weekly loss = 4.4, total loss = 6.3
    Jan 08 : 279.1 : weekly loss = 2.5, total loss = 8.8
    Jan 15 : 280.1 : weekly loss = -1.0, total loss = 7.8
    Jan 22 : 276.5 : weekly loss = 3.6, total loss = 11.4
    Jan 29 : 274.6 : January net loss = 11.4, total loss = 13.3
    Feb 05 : 273.5 : weekly loss = 1.1, total loss = 14.4
    Feb 12 : 275.3 : weekly loss = -1.8, total loss = 12.6
    Feb 19 : 276.1 : weekly loss = -0.8, total loss = 11.8

It's disappointing to see little change over four weeks time, but my BIA scale indicates I am losing fat mass and gaining lean mass, so I am not too disappointed.
I now have a pool to swim in!
(it's a 40 mile drive, so I can't swim every day :frowning: , but maybe twice a week).

Don't be discouraged...You are doing great! I have finally figured out that consistent action over the long haul will result in change and I see that with your progress. SO happy you are able to swim!!! Have fun in the pool.

“Don’t try to be perfect. Just try to be better than yesterday.”

Sometimes our goals can be quite grand, and sometimes unrealistic. If we simply “try to be better than yesterday” each and every day, we’ll see progress.

Don’t give up. “Just try to be better than yesterday.”

    And be kind to yourself.

    Be well everyone.

    Wise words....thanks for sharing🙏

Hi all, heavy here with you...happy to report that my weight is starting to come off, it has taken so long for it to start moving, week, after week I stayed the same. Down 9 pounds from Jan 1, 2021, still a big man at 274, but can see and feel some progress....Yes!

Congratulations! Nice to hear about your progress!!

My check in day! This journey has been slow but steady!

    HW 176.2 - December 2019
    SW 174.8 - April 27/2020
    CW 159.6 - February 22/2021

At this rate 30lbs by end of March will not happen...as long as I keep losing, I'll keep going!

    Enjoy your week all!!! :)
