Total sugar grams per day

I know women should not digest more than 25g of added sugar per day. But how many grams of total sugar do I set as my goal

I think you answered your own question. No more than 24 grams of ADDED sugar. Many foods have added sugar, so read the labels.
There's sugar in things like apples, carrots, bananas, and broccoli. That's different from added sugar. Think baked goods, soda, candy, or things you might not think have added sugar, but do (like tomato paste or bread). Read the label. Then log whatever you eat!0
