I started the couch to 5Kapp this week. I feel amazing and I’m losing again. I’ve also been better about snacking. Again I believe because I’m running and kicking in endorphins. Well maybe we should call it jogging. Whatever it is it’s working.

Y'all haven't seen much of me the last week and a half and I'm sorry for that. I'll probably keep this short. A week and a half ago I started having vertigo episodes again and have been keeping phone/ computer time to a minimum. Captain's steer...I can't even steer me right now. Just walking to pick up my phone was a challenge this am (and yesterday I thought I'd made progress). It will pass, I'm sure, and we're working on getting back on course...have ballast testing coming up soon(ish).
You guys are awesome. So many have posted losses, alternative progress. Terrific! I did two of the challenges this month (I don't usually...not a team sport kinda girl) and it hit home my need for consistency. Health ritual, so to speak.
I'm reading posts and cheering you on Somewhere in Kansas...I just can't spend a lot of time on the machines (40 work hours is killing me...I suspect it doesn't help). Keep up the excellent work!5 -

Very hard time right now. Trying to keep company going. I'm a technician by trade and even though I'm running the company some difficult technical tasks are for me to do. This weekend I'm converting a client off a legacy database to a new system. It's 12 hours of technical work between this morning and Monday at 7 AM.
25 YO daughter left her husband last night and headed my way to move in with me. She's been crying to me on the phone for 2 months. We live 24 hours of driving away from each other. I coordinated with her brother and sisters to arrange for the truck, reserve hotel rooms, and manage the return flight for the siblings who are traveling up here with her.
I know you all have things like this going on in your lives, too. Being a parent to adult children seems much harder than raising them when they are young. I was in charge then. I can only suggest now.5 -

It has been a good week. My weight was down to 125.4 yesterday but back up today to 126.4. I have no idea why, but still within my magic number. I have managed to do more strength exercises this week, about 30 minutes a day.
I was very happy to go to school Friday and substitute, although I did not have any students all day (subbing for the in school suspension teacher). I did take my laptop to school so I did some walking videos and weight videos from YouTube. The in person kids are doing great and no discipline problems therefore nobody in the classroom but me! I will do that again when I sub in that class. I will sub 2 days this week, 7th grade and again ISS. It was good to just get out of the house and see PEOPLE other than my husband.
We did not go out to eat this week but plan to try it again Monday night. Wishing all of you a new week ahead with promise, persistence and progress! Keep on keeping on…………

I’m feeling good about losing. I’m a little sad that I’m still at my highest weight ever. Why did I let myself gain in the first place? How come I didn’t care? I remember trying on a pair of AE mom jeans size 16 last Dec. that didn’t fit me. Yesterday I bought a pair of size 10 from there. That made me feel good. I have the desire to keep losing, but I’m not sure what goal weight I want to have. I guess I’ll decide when I get there. I’ll take suggestions, I’m 5’5”. I would say the majority of my life I have been an average weight of 155 to 160 pounds, but I definitely look my best and feel the sexiest when I weigh about 135 lbs. ( which is what I weighed in my teens and twice in my 30’s for like less than a year). When I weigh 135 lbs I get lots of compliments. I’m not sure I want that. So far my friends and colleagues haven’t noticed I’ve lost, but I know they will if I get back down to the 130’s.

@debbiewsharpe I got the nut craving out of my system for awhile! It cost me like 1000 calories- but I’m over it now!! The craziest thing is - it wasn’t all that great! It seems to be more of the fight to not eat them that brings the excitement! So weird!! Sunny got none! In fact- he seems to be losing weight hanging out with me!0 -

Glad I’m back down under 150. I’m supposed to do my three month body scan on Monday but I’m going to lose a bit more before I do it. I know I’m still up a bit from my weight from my last body scan. Maybe five more pounds and I will do it. I’m wondering if I have any gains in muscle!
