I just switched from a Samsung to an iPhone and although MyFitnessPal is linked to my Garmin and Fitbit apps, calorie data is not coming over like it usually does. Anyone have a suggestion?

It's not even the apps that talk to each other, it's the accounts those apps talk to which do.
Did you create a new account on new app setup somehow?
Because nothing needed to change on the back end between accounts at all - they could care less if you are using an app at all, let alone what phone it's running on.
Now, for MFP, you do have to select as Step Source the Garmin or Fitbit - can't have 2 step sources.
If you already have a linked account - that causes MFP to accept the incoming data from the external account.
So Garmin or Fitbit if linked accounts is already sending their data out - Step Source setting just tells your MFP account to take and apply it.
Was this working prior to phone swap (which is immaterial)?0
