    So I've been weighing in daily because my numbers were getting too high and I needed to keep an eye on them. They're slowly getting back lower

    I weigh daily too for the same reason but I only write it down once a week. I find it easier to make tweaks as I go along.

    April 22: 170.0 on April 21. Ate before I remembered to weigh this morning.
    April 29: weighed a day early April28-169.4 will weigh again tomorrow, just in case
    May 6: 167.8 on May 5. Day 'off' due to travel---and I ate too much yesterday, so staying off scales for a few days!
    May 13:172.2 Whoa! Last week was a personal toughie, but back on board today.

    Total loss: Gain for this week:-(. Loss to date of challenge: 2.2

    May 20: 165.6 Fasted water only for two days, so interested to see how scale responds after I eat again. Loss to date of challenge: 8.8lbs Loss this year to date: 16.2lbs Loss since last year: 24.4lbs. ! am officially under my lowest weight since children (AC)! Averaging almost a pound per week loss. My guess is that next week, with breaking fast,etc, is that I should weigh about 167, which will tie me at lowest AC weight.

    I am pretty pleased overall, but noticed I am starting to get impatient-like, I want to be a goal weight NOW! Since I know that 'slow and steady' is best plan for loss, I am a little interested in where this is coming from. Perhaps this is being driven by the 'derailed' week above? Anyone have any thoughts on this? I normally eat between 1500-1800 cal per day and do not really want to go any lower due to this being a new lifestyle rather than a diet. Exercise is not on the table until health condition allows. Hopefully this impatience passes. What is your experience?

    I had a funeral this week to go to. All I can say is that at least I'm less than I was 4 weeks ago, just.

    April 15: 149.4😁😁!! New decade. Discipline, focus, and dedication are paying off. Yes, motivation is definitely there. The other 3 are what drive me.

    Total loss: 3.8 lbs. since March 25, 2021. I have lost 44.6 lbs. from when I started on 09/01/20.

    April 22: 147. This makes it 47 lbs. lost since 09/01/20. I realized today that I weigh less than what is says on my driver's license, lol!!
    April 29: 146.4 Feel solidly in this new decade.
    May 6: 144😁😁
    May 13: 141.8😊😊

    Total loss: 5.2 lbs. I am grateful and doing a happy dance, as goal is close!! Again, what is working for me is Discipline, focus, and dedication. Motivation is still there; however, it is the other 3 that are driving me.

    May 20: 141😊. I will be out of town all next week. I'm going to treat it like any other holiday/birthday/travel/vacation, and not go hog wild. I believe I am well on the way to building the skillset to do it!!😉😊

    @Bluetail6 You have done so well!!! We were close to same starting weight, but you have done a better job more consistently:-).

    I love that you talk about 'mindset'/skill set. I came late to the game with the correct mindset, but think I have it now for the most part (if I can keep fighting the 'want to lose faster' demon on my shoulder.)

    Congrats again and enjoy next week:-).

    I want to recommend a Podcast called Huberman Lab which is a science based podcast that covers a lot of health issues including weight loss.

    My estimate re: weight after fast was pretty close. Since challenge start, I have lost a little over 2 inches in my waist😊. Lots more to go, but yay me!
