Scale read 175 this morning, on 10/12/16 read 125. Crept up and just kept ignored the slow weigh gain.

    Fifty pounds in four years is quite a lot. Today is the day to start making the change back to the other direction. Did it happen slow and steady, or, as many of us have experienced, accelerated during COVID?

    Please remember that it came on slowly, so don't expect to get it off quickly. Slow and steady. Set good goals, and keep track. What short-term goals do you think would help you achieve success?

    Warren Miller used to say, "If you don't do it this year, you'll be a year older when you do." So good on you for not waiting another year, month, week or even day to get started. A year from now, even if you "only" average a half pound per week loss, you'll be more than halfway back to your 2016 weight. And you know what? That's kind of awesome in and of itself.
