incorrect characterization of portions of an item

RMcD02RMcD02 Member Posts: 2 Member Member Posts: 2 Member
This is one example: 144 g, one whole cup of strawberries is 50 calories. If I enter a half a cup, the calories are correct (25) , and also the portion is correct (1/2 cup). However, the grams I apparently chose SHOULD be characterized as 72g.....which would be really helpful if going back to see how much to weigh to get these same calories....but instead, the reading remains at 144g. Therefore, if I were to look back on this entry before weighing my strawberries, I'd measure 144g, when I should really measure 72g to get 25 calories.

Yeah, there's lots of database entries like that, where the unit field includes a measurement that doesn't change when you change your number of servings. Find one that isn't like that.
