“I am mad. I have to go to work. I have to earn a living. I’d rather have a private income and get 😁😁😁😁, well and often.”
Does this belong in the quotes thread?0 -
Ugh, woke up late, the battery died in my activity tracker while I was sleeping, forgot my phone, and the wifi isn't working on my tablet.
I had to sit at my desk to type this!4 -

It’s really hard to get out of bed when it’s cold 🥶0 -

You do you. It’s a good app 🤷♂️1 -

I will check it out because I am less likely to lose my phone than I am to lose a notebook. If I do an app, then I’m looking for something that will record non-weight workouts as well.
Sorry I was so short. I’m trying to get back to work from my lunch
Eta: I also sent you a private apology, but I never know if those *kitten* go through.0 -

Haha you’re sweet. No need to apologize. I didn’t take it in a negative way. 🤗1 -
Such a common irk but the pain is real ya’ll.
Driving in my community is a test of patience.
The school zones start at 1:45 and continue until 4:15.
Every direction I go from my house there’s a school or a church that is also a school.
Not to mention the damn railroad tracks that I can’t avoid crossing if I want to drive west. 🙄
As more and more people move here it just gets worse.
Ancient people and soccer moms, the absolute worst!
I can be having a perfectly fine day and be pissed by the time I drive to my mom’s 20min away.
I finally had a sticker for my car made:
“Put down the phone
Pull forward
Use your blinkers!”
I’m such a b**** 🤣

Omg when people leave about fifty feet between them and the car in front of them while at a red light, that drives me bonkers1 -

I feel like I’m playing Frogger out here today and now I’m worried everybody’s judging me.0 -
That I can't give compliments more freely.
I used to be like that. Eventually I got over it and now I'm the nut-job that yells "Awesome T-shirt" or "Keep up the hard work" out the window of the car or in a store or wherever to random strangers I see. It cracks my husband up every time, and I've actually struck up some interesting conversations from it. I've not once met a person who didn't appreciate the compliment.
I'm to the point now if we go to restaurants or something, my husband and I will sometimes invite strangers to sit with us. We met a lovely couple once expecting their first child, an old retired farmer who told us about passing the farm on to his grandkids and his wife talked to us about how she used to jar their veggies and such, an ex-military man who reconnected with his high school sweet heart and they were bf/gf now....you never know what kind of stories you'll find if you open yourself up to it.
In my opinion, life is just too short to be afraid to be honest with yourself and others and it's better to put a little good back in the world when you can. Just remember, always say something positive and it doesn't have to be anything major.2 -
My Irk: Not having quite enough time for all my hobbies right now. I have to choose sometimes between reading, writing, painting, sculpting, cooking (trying new recipes), gaming, etc... I want to do them all so the choice is hard.1

What irks me today: Tucking my loose flapjack stomach jiggle into my pants.... 😑2
