I wanted to share my progress pictures. The picture on the left is when I first started. The picture on the right is from today.
Wow! You look great - - so helpful and inspiring! Losing weight is hard work so be proud of yourself for actually doing what you said you'd do. I'm in a September challenge with another MFP group (I started a little early so starting today). Thanks for the boost. I wish you continued good luck!9 -
The disagree was an accident! Sorry. My finger just happened to touch the screen right there. :>(0

If you accidentally tap a reaction that you don't mean, you can just tap it again to "undo," or tap a different reaction - you can only react to a post in one way at a time. If you look, you'll see that if you tap a given react and then tap it again, the count will go up and then back down by 1. Also, as far as I know there's no way to be notified of specific reacts to posts, so nobody's getting a message that "swimmom_1 disagreed with your post" or anything like that.

I've finally nailed down my overall training plan for September - I'll talk more about what that looks like in the September thread, but I just wanted to share here with people who Get It how jazzed I am that I can actually DO the things in the Watermelon Crush plan. I tried the warmup, stretches, and a few of the workout moves just to see if I could (I don't have all the equipment I need at home), and I COULD. Heck yeah. It occurred to me that I'll be finishing this 8-week program right around Halloween, so I have no idea where I could get a watermelon at that time of year...but then one of my friends pointed out I could try it with a pumpkin. So, that's the new plan, crush a pumpkin with my mighty warrior's spirit two months from now. I fully expect I'll need to run through the program one or two more times, and that'll get me to April when I should be able to get an actual watermelon, LMAO.10

@goal06082021 Smash that pumpkin, make pie and have a spiced latte! I have no doubt there isn't anything you couldn't do!2

Thanks. I found the disagree disappeared after I sent the sorry message, when I hit the like button.1 -
Hi ladies. Hoping to be more active here. I fell off the wagon for a few weeks but I've had enough of restarting again and again. Day 1 again today!
I am right there with you. Day 1 today.
I logged in last night and got my mind in gear. This morning my DH asked me if I wanted to join him on an early morning walk— yes I do! I tried to get him to walk with me for quite a long time, and he was always too tired. Hoping this is the start of a good habit!
How did your first day go?2 -
I was traveling last week so missed Monday's weigh-in.

okay, so I dropped the ball and didn't post for a couple weeks and also didn't lose, but hey. I work at a school. I've long held that SURVIVING August is the most I can ask for, and I both survived AND didn't lose ground, so I'm good.
Ready to go after September!
Now off to read everyone else's posts.

Hit goal! I am ready for September! I am adding very tiny changes in exercise am eliptical and PT. That is going really well. Sticking to the 1200 weekday 1450 Sunday. Stuck to that perfectly, so that is going well. I am losing my mind and memories, I am very frustrated with that - but I am trying to be patient and carry on. I have so many tasks half done because I am missing a main ingredient of said task and spend the rest of the time walking around the house trying to figure out what the heck I am doing. My memories are gone, and going fast. But if I was tracking my steps, I bet that I have walked a few miles in the house. So that...6 -

I had that test prep yesterday and hit 200 lbs today. Hoping 8/31 or 9/1 shows me at least 199.9 lbs for my goal! And had a clean bill of health for 5 more years till the next test!5 -

I had surgery yesterday so didn't eat until afterwards. I had the homemade soup, cracked wheat sourdough bread and for an appetizer a slice of avocado my youngest brought to me. Earlier in the week we celebrated my youngest graduating from her coding boot camp, finishing their final project and getting her new job so my weight shot up as it always does with take out. However Sunday we ate healthy home cooked meals (salmon dinner) and with low calories yesterday I should be back down. The surgery went well but it was a long day. I feel much better than other surgeries I have had. I will take it easy today but start with a short walk. Next week they said I could start weight training again but I am going to start slow with that too. Maybe next month I can see more progress with weight loss and getting back to my exercise routines.7

Total month loss: N/A +2 - Sodium hit
Weekly goals:
-Continue logging on MFP
-Work out 5x per week – 3 cardio & 2 strength
-64 oz of water each day
Had some high sodium items over the weekend. So not surprised with the higher weight today and saw it yesterday too.
Have been at Mom's house for the week. Decided to bring the cats as well as trying to go back and forth to med the cat wasn't making much sense. Siding seems to be done but they hadn't called to confirm yet. Now is to pack up and go back.
Been slacking on water. Routine just out of wack a bit.
I ended up canceling my work gym. I won't be there much in person and saw that the new company is cheaper if I started over. So cancel it was. Might sign back up when at the office more consistent; certainly didn't want to pay more for less benefits. Schedule with my other gym is off a bit due to different events. Will get back once things settle.1 -
