Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? yes - nice to get a 5 miler in after my long run yesterday with no issues
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? yes
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? yes

I think I don't go off the rails with emotional eating so much as sometimes I am just hungry and want something more. Then I sometimes forget to stop. I find that forcing myself to LOG as that happens slows the process down to where I can recognize that the original reason for eating more has long since left the building.

    Great topic today.

So awesome u are at this point. Must be lovely

    Exercise: Done.
    Tracked: Yes.
    Within calorie budget: Yes.

I used to beat myself up about eating sweets or fast food which only made it worse because I'd start spiraling and therefore start emotional eating, etc. I know the blog post is questioning if those cookies are really deserved but ever since I do tell myself I deserve it (because, honestly, I do deserve to eat something delicious that I very much enjoy) I don't feel guilty about it anymore which in turn stops the spiraling so I ultimately eat less of it. And I also kinda stopped buying most unhealthy foods ever since because by not restricting myself, those foods aren't even on my mind anymore.

Dealing with some personal drama last week and got off track with posting. Pretty sure every day was a pass day, even when I did get a workout done.

Hope things are settling down now, keep going, one day at a time.

I'm so glad you're back! I've missed your! Sorry about the personal drama - been there, done that! Ugh. I know how difficult that can be. The key is to just keep coming back! ;)
